Ok, here is the story.

Im pregnant. But we were not telling anyone because it might end in miscarriage.

A worker in my doctors office took it upon herself (sadly, they are an alcoholic and dont know how they have a job) to drunkenly tell a bunch of people that I was pregnant.

My family didnt even know yet. Im only 10 weeks.

I spoke to the doctor. Its a private practice. She said she would "talk" to her. Well, a few nights later, same drunk receptionist was complaining that *I* got her in trouble, and whats the big deal....why keep it a secret.

BECAUSE ITS MY RIGHT! Thats why.

I spoke to the doctor again. She said she would "see to the situation".

Upon calling there today, this woman STILL has a job. I am upset. I vented to a few friends and it got back to the doctor, who called me and is threatening me with a lawsuit of slander. Even the doctor said to me "Its NOT a big deal, its JUST a pregnancy" WTH!!!!!! I think she is bullying me so I dont sue her practice.

What steps do I need to take? Where do I start? Please, any help. And not just "get a lawyer" as Im on a fixed budget. I would just like to have a lot of information to bring to her, proving she is wrong and that I COULD have a lawsuit but Im just looking for an apology and the receptionist to loose her job.

Ok, first of all, Im 29. I was with my husband since I was 16 years old, and we divorced last year. Im still healing from it. I dont know HOW I got to cut myself the first time, but it was this awesome wave of relief. It was nice to feel the pain somewhere else besides in my head and in my heart.

Every now and then when my depression plummets, I cut myself. They are not huge. They are not gaping. They dont require stitches.

Personally, can someone please just explain to me - what is so WRONG with it? Im not an emo kid doing it for attention or out of severe depression. It gives me a release, I feel better after it. I know, even re-reading this it sounds screwed up. But I have read people saying "You need to stop, you need to stop"...well, why? Seriously? If I take care of it, no infection, and there are just a few scars, I dont understand the big deal?

Or am I over looking something because I am defensive about it?

I am making a DVD Slide Show of my son, with pictures from birth to his first year. Im going to play it at his birthday party. I have one sing, 'Baby Mine" from the Disney movie Dumbo that Im going to use...but I need like 2-3 other songs, as I have like 400 pictures, hahahahaa.

Any thoughts??? Ideas on good songs for that kind of thing?

My backyard is built up into two parts - it teirs up.

We live on a steep hill.

Now, we are an old mining town, underneath all this dirt is stamp sand. No one can get grass to grow on my side of the street.

I opened a daycare this year and kids are in the DIRT and its GROSS and well, dirty. I would like to get some grass, any grass, growing to prevent them from looking like Pig Pen from Charlie Brown. :)

Any ideas or tips or products that work?!??!

Help! My sister in law just found out her 8th child is a boy. She already has seven boys. LOL.

The names she has are Trevor, Jacob, Brandon, Gage, Tessa, Blake & Luke.

Is doesnt want a B or T name.

She wants it one or two sylabols.

And a tad original (no Mike or Bob), but not too wacky (like Zuma or Moses!)

Ok, I will go to a search engine, like Yahoo (of course) or Google. I will type in what I want to look for. Then titles of the pages that come up in that search and the descriptions are all acurate, but when you click the link or the address listed underneath, it says something like seekriot . com or monstermarket . com.

My friend has a 1 month old, and she is very fussy. She smokes cigarettes (outside, never around the baby) and nurses.

Would it be better for that baby to be on formula than to get the nicotine through the breast-milk? Or is it so scarce that breast-milk is still better?

Serious answers please -- I know, I know, she should QUIT smoking period. She did quit while pregnant. Which is awesome. Too bad she couldn't keep it up. On average - 4 to 5 cigs a day.

Big ol spiders have taken residence in my home. Its an older home...but these are huge! Gross and nasty. I rather not bomb the house because I have a 3 week old, and a dog. I would hate to not wipe something down that had that residue from the bug bomb on it.

Anything else, any old-fashion ways to get rid of them?! No chemicals!!

His billirubin (spelling) levels where normal when he was born, discharged and at the 10 day appointment. BUT his eyes are not white, they are a creamy with a touch of pale yellow. His skin isnt yellow at all but sometimes I think it might be.

Is it possible to develop jaundice at 3 weeks? Or could there be other reasons why his eyes are not clearing up? I just hate that becase people say "Oh put him in the sun, his eyes are yellow" and I have! It just wont go away 100%.

Ok, so my speakers were not working. I have "new" ones (they are my older ones) and I plugged them in the computer. The light is on. The volume is up. The volume controls on the computer is all up to par. BUT there is no sound?

I have looked at other people who have this problem. It was working fine...I was burning pics to cds. I put a new cd in. Closed it the right way. It whirred. Then I put the pics on the cd...and usually when it's done burning them to the CD it pops out automatically. This time it didnt. I cant get the tray to pop out???

I hit that little tiny pinhole in the front. It whirs but wont come out. I manually go into MY COMPUTER, click on C DRIVE and click "eject" and nothing happens!

Please help - this came out of nowhere in the middle of using it with nothing wrong. New cds and everything.

I woke up with my left ear aching. I can feel the ache going all the way into my throat!? It burns and aches to swallow but only on the left side?! Not the right.

I am guessing ear infection of some sort.

HAVE NOT BEEN SWIMMING or anything so not blocked with water or anything either.

I dont have the money to run to the doctors and get prescriptions for it either. :P

So I am looking for all those good "at Home" remedies, or even "Grammys Cures" to help with it! Its killing me. Besides, I am working 60 hours this week and dont have time to go doc's anyway - poo!

I get a call tonight around supper time from my kindergardens teacher. She tells me that the students had sherbert for a lunch time snack in styrofoam cups.

My daughter was licking it and using the cup "like an ice cream cone" but from being SO tired or not paying attention took a few bites of the cup??!!! I was shocked!

(When I asked my daughter she was so embarassed and denied it, LOL)

I mean, it's just a "few bites" like 1 inch by 1 inch the teacher said - and no belly aches or anything. Should I worry???
