I have s BenQ DLP 3D video projector and I want to know if the glasses from a theater will work or do I need to buy a specific type. The electronic stores sell the ones for rear projection TVs but I haven t found any that can be used with an actual projector. Thanks in Advance

If so , how do I get them onto the laptop since I cant connect to the internet anymore because my browser is out of date. Is there a browser app setup file that I can install from a USB?

I am new to the hobby of electric (model) trains and I have both Nickel Silver and Steel Track and was wondering if trains equipped with DCC (Digital) will run on the Steel Track. I know it will run on the Nickel Silver track but its more expensive. Thanks.

I connected my laptop to my work network and now at home I cannot open any internet links in any of my microsoft office programs (OneNote, Outlook, etc.) I try to open a link in emails or on my one note projects list and the dialog box comes up and says action canceled due to restrictions on my computer and to contact my system administrator...Well I am my administrator and I cannot seem to find the instructions on how to reset the security folder or permissions folder that allows me to open links. I have to forward all my email to a non-outlook account and its is very annoying. Please help.

I have some 3-D Dvds (Polar Express) that works fine on my HIDef Vizio TV and I can watch 3D trailers on the standard monitor. Do I really need a 3D Monitor to watch a 3D Blu Ray?

I have a Toshiba Sattelite L455D -S5976 series laptop and was wondering if there is any "internal" BD-ROM drive that is compatible for the laptop I have. Thanks

She has a computer with a DVD - ROM player that plays Store bought DVDs just fine, but wont play the ones I made for her on my DVD recorder. The Windows Player window comes up and says she needs a conterter of some kind. Any ideas? She is running Win XP and we thought we had solved her issue when we discovered she hadn't selected her players region so when we did that, we were able to play a store bought region 1 dvd but when we put in a disk made on my dvd recorder and her dvd recorder, we couldn't play either of them. This is not a dvd + or dvd - issue as we had thought, it has something to do with the WMP conversion. Help if you can. We already downloaded and installed the latest driver, but that didn't work and MSoft says we have to "buy" the converter for XP OS....is there a free way around that.

Are there any camcorders or camcorder lenses out there that allow the average video person film in panoramic 2.35:1. I have 2 different 16:9 cameras but would like to give some of my videos that cinescope look.

I make videos but I am tired of being limited to the 16:9 aspect ratio when I have a projector capable of showing a 2.35:1 widescreen image and was wondering if there is software or even camera lens that I can buy to put on my camera to get a widescreen image. My camera takes a 37mm lens thread.

I have the "movie" version that was included in the complete series DVD set and this is not the same as the original TV pilot. Some of the scene sequences are different in the pilot episdoe and some scenes that are in the movie are not in the pilot and vice-versa, and there is another scene after they return to Earth where Buck is asked to join the Earth Defense Directorate. I used to have a PAL VHS of the pilot, complete with intro teaser and it was the 2 hour (96 minute) version. It was an okay (7-8 video quality) and I am looking for a clean copy, even if recorded off TV, of the pilot, or even the 2 part version is okay, but I need it complete. I had a HULU 2 part version but it was not the official 2 part edit from Universal, as Part 1 was cut about 6 minutes too early and ran 39 minutes wheras part 2 ran 53 minutes so someone at HULU took the 2 hr pilot and randomly cut it....Any help would be appreciated.

Please provide specific instructions. There are a few TV shows that they have from a long time ago where they have alternate versions on the DVD sets and I want to have the other versions in my library for personal use. Thanks to all who answer and big thanks to the person(s) that provide step by step instructions that work. I have tried the iTunes thing but I cannot convert them becasue of the stupid dsrm encoding. I can watch them on Ipod but I dont want to.

I download trailers from iTunes but sometimes the server is so busy or iTunes doesn't have the newer trailers (such as Smurfs, Voyage of Dawn Treader) and I was wondering if there were other sites that you can download the trailers from as well.

Also - Does anyone know of any free A/V converters ( I have Anyvideo Converter) that allows the conversion of 2.35:1 trailers. I convert them but they always convert to 1.85:1 Thanks...

Before I spend $$ buying more memory and upgrading to Windows 7 or at least Vista Pro, ( actually I will do a full clean install) what I want to know is, is it worth it. Can I take out the USB host card and buy a 2.0 host card. I have been told different things and one of my college profs is not up on some of the technology so its hard to trust his/her advice. Thanks. Upgrading memory will be $50 - 60 but depending on feasibility and cost of the host card if possible, I see some new computers within grasp but I wantto know for sure.

I have a website on comcast. I would like to design my own page rather than use comcast's tacky (and rather limited) templates. I need a decent free or low cost web design software package that will allow me to upload it on comcast's server so that the web address stays the same or close enough.

I am looking specifically for the name of the music that is played in the backround when they introduce the acts (right after the theme song for America's Got Talent) I have heard it on several trailers, and recently on during an ABC promo for a new show this fall. I dont want websites that I can download music from, that doesn't answer my question. I need to know thE name of the song. I know its on some movie soundtrack, I just don't know which one. 10 points for a real answer not a generic "you can download music from such and such site" I need a title or even a guess, I can at research a guess. I cant do anything on any site without a name to go with it.

On the show, America's Got Talent, aside from the actual theme song, The show also uses other pieces of music. Does anyone know the name of the piece used when they are mentioning all the hopefuls on the results shows. I have heard it used in movie trailers, most recently, the trailer of Babylon.A.D. I was told last year it was from the Matrix soundtrack and although one of the music cues used was indeed from Matrix, this particular one was not. If anyone knows what its called and by whom or what soundtrack it is from, that would be great.

I am looking specifically for the Trailer and would prefer the trailer as opposed to the DVD trailer which is the trailer but with "coming to DVD" I have the second movie's two trailers, I am looking for the trailer(s) for The first movie. Thanks.

I have several movie trailers on disc from Quicktime and I was wondering if there is any way to play them on DVD (most DVD players wont play quicktime) Does anyone know how to convert them to a format that will play on regular DVD players? Is there software available or firmware upgrades? Help.
