Sonny Liston chased Eddie Machen, a very good boxer, for 12 rounds. He KO's Patterson twice. Took care of a good Cleveland Williams twice by KO's. Liston was also a better boxer than he is given credit for. Liston stopped fighting in two fights against Ali however. Why? What are some of your opinions about the Muslim effect? Ring magazine has Louis with the number one punch. I don't agree with that. Dempsey at number 7. I don't agree with that and Marciano at number 14. I will conceed to Brad in that Marciano may not have the punch I thought he had. Look at the whole package of Marciano however when looking at these fights.
