I've been online dating for a while.

I've been on several dates with this guy. I am pretty clear on what I want from a relationship and have expectations from my experience about what it's like when you meet someone that has potential.

While the guy is nice, I don't think it's going anywhere,,, and I'm sure he feels the same.

However, we have chemistry in the bedroom... :)

I want to continue to do the online dating thing, but I have a very high sex drive. Do you think I could suggest to this guy that we continue to sleep together without expectation from either of us that it will progress to anything more?

How do you think I can bring this up?

I have just got a new netbook running on Windows 7 and I want to transfer videos and documents from the PC to it.

Both computers are connected to my home wireless network.

What is the best way to transfer?

Hi All,

I pay my car insurance in full every year.

I am currently a Technologist - and this is what I specified when applying.

I will be returning to full time education in September - so will be a full-time student rather than a technologist. I am fully comp. insured for social use.

Do I have to let them know about my change in profession and will this affect how much I pay (even though I've already paid for year up to next April)?

Ok, so i work for a big corporate giant and they've just remembered that they like their staff to set goals for the year. Only now - in June for christ's sake - have they decided to tell people to make sure they are submitted before the end of the week.

Now...here is my conundrum: I am resigning on 22 June.

Clearly I don't want to have to create some bullsh1t goals for the year when i am leaving soon.

However, I didn't want to tell them before 22nd that i am leaving incase they ask me to leave earlier and I need all the money I can get.

If you were in this situation would you try to explain to your manager?

I almost want to write him an email asking to be exempt from goal setting as I will be leaving soon, but emphasising I am not submitting my formal resignation just yet.

i have never resigned from a job before so i;m not really sure how it all works.

I will be resigning from my job in a few weeks. I have never had to resign from a job before so I'm unsure of how to go about it.

I work for a big American company and as such I have an MD in London, and I also report to an ED in New York.

I have written a letter stating that I am giving my 30 days notice and when my last day will be.

I intend to give a printed copy of the letter to the MD in London so that i can resign in person.

However, I also want to get copies to the NY guy and my HR contact. If I give the hard copy to the MD would it be acceptable to send an email version of the letter to NY guy and HR?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

y PC DVD drive has disappeared.

I deleted the upper and lower filters and it fixed it.

However... a few days later and it's disappeared again. Attempted to follow the same solution but in regedit there is no mention of any "filter" type entries under the key specified.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Ok, so I've been out of the whole dating game for a while so not really sure what's good and bad ideas anymore...so I want some advice...

I met this guy a few months ago (he's 31, I'm 27) and we've been in touch very regularly since then via email and text. We finally got round to having a first proper date on Sunday just gone and it went really well. We ended up spending the whole day together and am quite happy that there were no awkwards silences!

He got in touch the next day saying he had a great time and wants to meet again soon - and I feel the same.

However, I have so many things planned over the next number of weekends (and I know he works 6 days a week) that I'm not sure when we'll be able to meet up.

I was thinking that this weekend is not an option because I have lots of plans. One of those plans is on Sunday... myself and my housemates are having a party as my birthday is on the Saturday and anothers is on the Monday - so having a BBQ and cocktails on our roof terrace (weather permitting).

Now... I would like to see this guy again soon... but would it be weird to invite him to this BBQ?

I automatically think that a second date is way to soon to be introducing friends - and I don't want him to think I'm jumping the gun, don't want to freak him out. But I like him and the next several weekends are already booked out for me and I really don't want it to be another month til we can meet.

Swapped numbers and have been texting very regularly for the past 7 weeks. Unfortunately, for various reasons it hasn't been possible to meet up again face to face.

...but you still text her...still say your keen to meet up...

Would the girl be right is assuming that you wouldn't spend all that time texting if you were just after a one-night stand/fling and that you are most likely interested in seeing if it could develop into something more substantial?

Ok so... I met this guy on February 13th. I had been out with my friend for lunch that afternoon and then we went for a few drinks.

In the evening we started chatting to another group of people. Now, I must point out, that by this point we'd had quite a few bottles of wine.

:)

Anyway...the one guy and I had a bit of a drunken snog.

My friend and I had to leave so she could catch our train so we swapped numbers.

We've been texted regularly since then and unfortunately haven't had the chance to meet up properly since. Because of my work schedule and him having surgery.

However...we have agreed to meet up once he's up to it.

...but now I don't think I can clearly remember what he looks like to be able to spot him when we're supposed to meet!! We were bother slightly inebbriated at the time and it was more than two weeks ago!

Would it be wierd to ask him to send me a picture?

Hi All,

Soon I will be leaving a company i have worked for for 5 years. Now, when other people have left in the pass they fork out for the leaving drinks themselves.

This is totally absurd to me - I view it that people should be buying the leaver a drink to say goodbye and good luck!

But nonetheless... this is how it's done at my soon-to-be-ex-firm.

However, I have about 50 people that I want to explicitly invite to celebrate with me. If I was to buy each of them just one drink we're talking nearly £200!! (and who only wants one drink!)

I am leaving my job to return to university and I really need all the money I can get - so throwing away £200 (at least) on alcohol isn't really an option - that's a big chunk of my rent.

Given that I think most people will assume the drinks are on me - how can I nicely tell them in the email invite that I won't be buying the drinks all night - but hope that people still come?!

Any ideas?

My brother has just announced that he is getting married at the end of january! Eek! They only got engaged abotu a month ago!

Anyway, my mother doesn't know what do to about an outfit. She is a size 26. The bridesmaids are wearing maroon so we were thinking she could wear black as a nice contrast.

However, there seems to be a severe lack of nice outfits for plus size women for formal occassions.

She is a petite woman - at only 5'1 - so it either needs to be a shorter dress or easy to take up.

Does anyone have any suggestions for shops/websites that do good quality outfits for this size?

Our technical team is entering a quiz, and as the only IT team in it, that want a funny team name maybe with some reference to technology in some way...
