If one looks at the development of a baby, fathers contribution is merely in the form of a small micro sized cell, the sperm.The rest of the development is all with in the mothers body. The sperm fuses with the egg produced with in the body of a women The fertilized egg divides forming a blastula and then a gastrula and then further divides in to forming a baby. The baby forms contact with the mother through umbelical cord for drawing its food and other nutritional requirements. So as we see the baby grows up with in the womb with full intimate and blood contact with the mother

So what is the rationale in saying that blood relatives are only from the paternal side !

Is it wealth,health, or an attractive physic, or a sound mind and body !
