What are your expectations based upon his campaign platform and promises?

I want them to know I hate them for charging $2 more per gallon than they should be charging, do you?

Why would they care?

Why can't the greatest country in the history of the world stop the gulf oil leak? Why are we waiting on BP to do it? Are we broke and don't have any money left over from all the wall street giveaway windfall bailouts?

Don't they realize that high gas prices are what is keeping the economy choked down? And, why is this not a daily topic of discussion on the news media?

Not enough government regulation? Too many ultra rich? Loss of moral standards and ethics? Special interest groups / lobbyists influencing government decisions? Cost of basic needs too high? Un-educated America? Any and all answers appreciated.

Serious. I'm not trying to be judgmental. So, instead of guessing, I thought I would ask for real answers. So if you are a man and you wear, or want to wear earrings, if you don't mind, please tell me why.

What comes first, the offender or the offended? Should politically benign people be offended because there's nothing you can say that offends them? Is it offensive to be politically benign?

Several years ago I won an office contest to name a new affiliate of the corporation. An expenses paid trip was promised to the person who submitted the selected name. After the name I submitted was selected as the new affiliate company name, the manager who made the offer and selected the winning name never mentioned the contest again and never made good on any reward or compensation whatsoever. The affiliate company was begun and is still using the name I submitted and has been a very successful profit center for the parent corporation. Do I have any legal right to compensation? Do I have rights to the ownership of the name used by the company? This company has since fired me without cause resulting in severe financial hardship for my family. I sure would like to know what my rights are in this situation.
