I am looking for a set of quality earbuds where I can transfer all of the sound to just one earbud (stereo-to-mono). Are there any earbuds on the market that has this functionality? My workplace allows headphones, but you can only have them in one ear. 

There is an event tomorrow that I m strongly interested in. But I want to make my decision as late as possible. The event starts at 8pm Saturday. At what time will Ticketmaster stop sales for this event?

On my way to work, while stopped at a red light, the battery light on my car lit up and my car shut off. I had recently bought the car at a dealership and had their technicians look into the problem. A technician insisted that battery corrosion ob the terminals was the culprit. But I've never known corrosion to cause a car to shut down while idling. Is that possible? If corrosion was not the probable cause, what are some other possible causes?

How much should I expect a Toyota dealer to charge for a driver's side lock cylinder, and for coding it?

I own a 1999 Toyota Camry. A couple years ago the interior driver's side door handle broke. I never had it repaired. But recently the exterior driver's side door handle broke as well. So I'm pretty much having to replace one of them. How much, parts & labor, should it cost to replace each?

I have a '99 Toyota Camry...One evening I got into my car, and when I turned the ignition, some of the indicator lights turned on, I heard one click, and the car would not start. Each time I turned the ignition after that, I got nothing. No indicator lights or anything. The power locks and anything that requires battery power would not work. A few hours later, I went back to my car, and noticed that the power locks were working again. But when I turned the ignition, I heard a click, and the power locks once again were not working. This has been the cycle. I don't think the battery is the problem. It is only 8 months old, and using boosters cables to start my car didn't work. What could be the problem here? I'm trying to educate myself before I take the car to the shop. Thanks.

I have a bottle of 100 proof Absolut ("Absolut 100"). What would mix really well with it and/or go down smoothly? And what is a good proportion(e.g. 2 oz. liquor w/ 6 oz. juice)...I'm thinking along the lines of fruit juices.

Well,I didn't get that punchline, and I've been trying to figure it out for years. Do any of you get it and can tell me what that line is about?

...for doing the same job, than more experienced people? I have been on both sides. When I was working at a hotel, I got 50 cents worth of raises over 4 years. During the fourth year, a third party told me that a relatively new associate (6 months or less) was making $1.25 more an hour than me. She had no previous hotel experience, and I had more education...Now, I'm in a situation where where I make more than a co-worker who actually has more responsibilities than me, but our job titles are the same. He has been there 2 years more than me, and does a pretty good job. I have a university degree, and he has a technical school degree. I make more. I'm not going to get into how he discovered that, but now he's complaining to our boss about not having gotten a raise last year.

Why is that type of thing so commonplace? More pay for the more experienced employees just seems so simple. What is the rationale for companies that pay new employees more than veteran employees?

I have recently bought a Casio Waveceptor atomic watch. Daily the watch is supposed to automatically capture a signal from Fort Collins, Colorado to keep the exact time. The radius of the signal is about 2,000 miles and covers the entire continental U.S. It becomes tougher to receive the signal as one moves further from Fort Collins. I live 1600 miles away, and my watch has yet to capture the signal. Do any of you have any suggestions on where I should place the watch to increase my chances at getting the signal? The manual says to place it next to a window, but that doesn't work for me. The buildings in my apartment complex are close together, and there are high tension power lines near me...I especially want to hear from those of you who live far away from Colorado and have had to go through trial and error to get a signal for your Casio watch. Any help would be appreciated.

I like the Adidas long-sleeve shooting shirts that the NBA players wear. I have searched online, and can't find any site that sells them. Are they available for sale to the general public? If so, can any of you point me to a site where I can purchase one, or a national sporting goods chain that sells them? I am particularly interested in the Charlotte shirt.

I'm about to go to a different auto repair shop than the one I usually visit. My brake pads have a lifetime warranty, and I need a new set. If I go to a different auto repair shop than the one where I bought my pads, will the warranty still be honored? In other words, is there a way the new shop can verify that I have a warranty?

I own a 1999 Toyota Camry , and I'm considering going to Circuit City and have their Firedog folks install it. They advertise free labor on radios $99 and up. I just want to get a conventional radio with a CD player and an auxiliary input. How likely is it that I will have to purchase additional accessories like installation kits to have it installed properly? And have you ever had Firedog install a radio for you? How long did it take? I just want to get an idea on how much I'll likely end up spending if I choose a $120 radio.

My internet service is through my cable company. Several times a day I lose connection to the internet, and have to unplug & plug my Netgear router's AC adpater and wait a couple minutes before I can get back on the internet. I have tried resetting the cable modem and powering off the router. I make sure the router and modem are kept several feet apart. I even had a cable technician replace the cable modem. Didn't work. Also, each morning, from 4am - 9am I cannot seem to connect to the internet at all. My desktop tries to connect to some unknown IP address during those hours, which I find strange. Have any of you experienced anything like this? Any suggestions on how to fix? Thanks.

...Jan. 17 and Jan 24, and had your refund direct deposited. According to the IRS refund cycle chart, the direct deposits for your refunds should have been sent on February 1st. On what date did the funds actually get posted to your checking accounts and were made available to you? I'm asking because I'm expecting the IRS to send a direct deposit to me tomorrow (the 8th), and I'd like to know when I should expect the funds to actually be available to me.
