The theme for the New Years bash is 'minimal fancy dress'. This means wearing or doing something very small and minimal that makes you instantly recognisable as a famous person . . like noose round the neck = Sadam Hussein, red dots on palms = Jeses . Any really killer ideas anyone?

Some people are good at remembering faces, I am definitely not - is their a psychological / neurological reason for this?

These are watersnails in a freshwater tank with 2 healthy goldfish. They last a few weeks and then die. As I speak, the small one is rolled over on it's back wiggling about and the big one is floating around on the top looking unhappy.

While doing a mundane task the end of my middle finger clicked violently. The end is now swollen and tender but I can move all of the knuckles. Could I have broken a bone up there? What should I do - I really don't want to go to hospital for an xray if it's untreatable.

I'm not intending to, but just wondered.
