I've read that Austria requires snow tyres and may require snow chains to be in the car. I'm planning to drive from the BMW factory in Munich to Monaco next week. Roads will be all autobahn/motorway other than a stop in Innsbruck. Do I have the rule correct and does it apply?

When the NYC-JFK airport bus arrives at JFK, which terminal does it stop at FIRST. My daughter needs to get to Terminal 4. Assuming the first stop is 5, not 4, should she (A) stay on and go all the way round all the terminals or (B) get off at 5 and either (1) take the AirTrain back one stop or (2) walk from 5 to 4?

Why is Kimi whining on and on about Lewis Hamilton clipping the back of his car last weekend? Do you think (1) he's just trying to play head games (2) he really believes that this is the most unbelievable incident to have ever occurred in F1 (even though 4 drivers have done it in two years at Montreal) (3) he's turned into an arrogant jerk since joining Ferrari (4) some other explanation.

Fernando Alonso has apparently stated that "McLaren are not winners". Is he right or not; reasons, please.

Situation: Person A married a US citizen and eventually divorced. Shortly after getting married, Person A got a "Green Card" which has remained active ever since. Person A has lived in the US ever since, operates a business there but does not want US citizenship.

Person A now wants to marry Person B, from France. Assuming this happens, will Person B be able to live in the US? Can Person B work in the US - ie can Person A sponsor Person B for a Green Card?

I have a 5 speed, Subaru WRX 2.0 turbo and tend to drive it (ahem) quite quickly.

I use engine braking quite frequently, partly for the glorious sound of the engine as it winds down from high rpm. Other than the obvious risk of over-revving the engine (which is easily avoided), I'm worried I could be damaging the gearbox since it has started to balk when going from 2nd into 1st. Assuming it's wear on the synchros, is that just because of frequent hard acceleration or could downshifting into first at elevated engine rpm be contributing to the problem?
