Im going to invest in good make-up and want to get foundation, under eye concealer, powder and blusher. Which one should I go for? The MAC counters always manic and bobbi brown were nice but kept trying hard sell, but I know what I want so don't need the highlighter, eye cream etc. just a magic pen or something.

Anyway, any help or insight would be much appreciated.

I have these red specks/spots (not raised) on my cheeks. They are painless and not irritated but have been with me since a young age. I was just wondering what they are?

After years of buying those pack away umbrellas that fit into my bag but blow all over the place when used in a British drizzle I need to find a strong umbrella that won't flip over or shake uncontrollably (and ultimately break) when used in a normal winters day in Britain!

Im not sure what type to get. Any help would be much appreciated ?

For a couple days now a stray cat has been visiting me. The first day it was terrified and we let it in for a drink of water, then it followed us around the neighborhood as we asked locals if they recognized it.. it desperately dodged into every driveway to see if he knew the house. All weekend it would come to our door scratching at it to come in. I came around 6ish and stayed there until 8 in the morning when I leave for work.

Unfortunately, I can't keep it and don't know what to do next. The RSPCA says to put up posters etc. but I went door to door and its definitely lost. Is there anyone who will come to collect it or do i have to catch it and bring it to them?

No shelters near where I live just a RSPCA centre.

I'm flying with ryanair from stansted and will be carrying on one big shoulder bag. The body of the bag fits the dimensons but it also has really long straps (doubles the size of the bag) Will it be allowed on?

Taking a friend out to London tomorrow during the day. But other than a show (shes not interested) or a movie (shes not interested) I dont know where to take her! It must be fun!!!

My 1GB USB disk needs to formatted according to any computer. However, whenever i try to it always ends with a 'unable to format'

Attempted it through disk managerment but still failed!

I don't care much for the files but need the USB to work!

After transferring files onto my USB til it was completely full it would not open on the other computer. I received the message to format the drive. I did this but it wont format....on either computer. 1 says it cant right from the start, the other seems to be formatting but gives up a mm from the end of the green bar....?

The USB drive works fine, its not damaged or anything?!

Any help?

p.s. attempted to format from disk manager too...failed

My cold sores fell off about 4 weeks ago, but the red areas are still there! (Although for the past 3 weeks they're a darker brown) there has been no sign of fading. How can i get these bizaare smudges off my face?!

I've had been using zovirax 2g cream for 4 days, and more began to develop yesterday! I went to the Doctor and received 10g cream and the pill Zovirax. However, the few cold sores that have scabbed don't really absorb the cream, instead the cream just sits on top of the dry scab....So is there any point applying the cream to the scabs?

Hi! Jus found out I've got cold sores :( And have been told to use Zovirax by my GP. However, do I rub it in or not? I've got to go into uni tomorrow and can't imagine having big white patched around my mouth!!!

2 days ago I suddenly felt a pain on the corner of lip, i wasn't concentrating so not sure if i bit it?! It looked as if skin was broken so i ignored the pain and kept applying lip balm. Now, 2 days later the cut has changed to a darker red and still hurts despite constant lip balm application.

How do I know what it is?

I need a simple messenger bag to fill with my documents etc. with a the secure 'across body' strap! Simple enough I know but I can't seem to find it! It's either to small or boyish. A simple military khaki or green would be perfect! but the high street has a pathetic choice!!!

I'm planning to go to Uxbridge station from liverpool street on the metropolitan line. However, last time i did this it terminated at harrow on the hill and i had to wait for another train to go to uxbridge (as the line splits here)

A friend tells me there is a train that goes straight to uxbridge and says "all stations" on the front?

is this true? and how will i know if "all stations" applys to Uxbridge side of the split or the other side??
