I'm looking for a stylish, but durable backpack for my daughter for school. She's in 8th grade. She had a really cute Harajuku Lovers backpack, but it just wasn't made for the heavy school books that she has to carry in it. I'm willing to spend up to $100. Thanks for your suggestions.

Our new home's family room used to be an attached, single story 2 car garage. I am not sure how long ago the garage was remodeled to a family room. A new 3 gar garage was built, and is detached from the home. I often notice a "garage" oil/gas/grease type smell while I'm in the family room. We installed new hardwood floors in this room before moving in, and did extensively clean, level and prime/seal the concrete subfloor before installing the hardwood. The odor seems to come mainly from a large closet in the back of the family room, which is not insulated. This odor comes and goes. What could be causing this smell?

I just have 2 guppies, male and female. They have so far eaten any fry and seem to be very happy in the 5 gallon tank. But the pond snails are taking over! I've reassembled the cleaned the tank twice, which took care of the larger snails, but now all the babies are out.
