It starts and displays the welcome screen fine, but

when I click create server/Start single player or Mod Manager,

then it does nothing. It doesn't freeze, it just won't respond (except it does make a sound, the same sound as if I would open the options).

Why is Garry's mod doing this and why is there nothing on the internet about this?

p.s. I've reinstalled all of steam + games, done the load times, installed source SDK (and base), and yet the problem still persists.

I've heard about a piece of metal that can be used instead of motors to move like a muscle, it contracts when you put current through it and returns to normal when the current stops, similar to memory metal or is it memory metal? I'd like to do more research on it, so would anyone know what it is called?

Maybe it is our mind that is tricking us into believing that others are there.

How do we know we exist alone or even with others?

I have wondered the answer to this question or even a glimpes of a clue, but it is difficult to know, Plz help if u can.
