I am looking for a lightweight iron (in the U.K).

I have a shoulder and neck injury and am finding it hard to iron as my present iron is rather heavy.

Does anyone have any ideas which is the best lightweight iron?

I know in an ideal world I could either employ an ironing lady or get someone else to do it but this ain't an ideal world so I've got to do it myself!!

Any suggestions as to the best hotel to stay in for the footie and to see a bit of Madrid?

Hoping to walk a bit so something a bit central would be nice but not opposed to jumping on a bus or metro if needs be.

A question that we have been wondering about since we flew back from America and had a 10 hour time difference and suffered from major jet lag!!

I'm not trying to be rude (and I'm not that old!) but when I was younger old people had manners and said please and thank you.

The other day my 9 year old nephew was out shopping with me and he held the door open for a group of 5 older ladies and not one of them said thank you to him.

How can we teach our children manners and respect etc when none is shown to them.

You don't get respect, you earn it.

I've several vases which have become cloudy and I don't seem to be able to get them clean.

I've tries normal washing up liquid and also window cleaner but it doesn't seem to make much difference.

Do any of you have a little cleaning secret you'd be willing to share??!!

What are your thoughts?

I think that even if your are against abortion in principle how can you stand by and watch a young person suffer mentally aswell as physically when you know that the baby has NO chance of life at all.

I was offered a job and we had worked out all the details and I was waiting for a copy of my contract to be e mailed to me when I get a phone call from my recruitment agency to say they no longer want me and have offered the job to someone else.

Do I have any rights, can I get any money off them for loss of earnings or the fact that I've turned down other job offers as I thought I had a job with them.

Contracts were not signed so I don't think I have any rights but wanted to check with all you knowledgeable people!
