trying to undercut Obama? We all know that he doesn't respect and believe in Obama. Is he subtlely throwing his support to McCain? He's been very complimentary of McCain and Palin recently and now he is making excuses for him. What are Clinton supporters going to do when they see him schmoozing up McCain?

Just because he is Republican? Remember, he has to stay true to his party or else he loses his support, so of course he is going to present a hardline on the Republican issues. But look at his many years of voting and see actual record. McCain often crosses party lines and has always been looked at as more liberal. I suspect he would do more of the same as president. And to all those who says he voted in agreement with Bush on 90% of the votes, look at the percentage of Democrats (let alone Biden and Obama) that voted along with Bush. Democrats forget that they drank as much of Bush's Kool Aid as the other Republicans did.

I missed it. Did O'Reily skewer him? Did Obama do his whole stuttering-can't-talk-without-preparation? I would have found the interview entertaining.

Why is it that people look at the scrutiny she is recieving and consider her choice to be disasterous? Is her background any more controversial than Obama's? I mean really, we're talking teen pregnancy, troopergate, a spouse's DUI over 2 decades ago. Is any politician (or any citizen) that sqeaky clean that the press wouldn't find something? This issue is her credentials- not what happened to her daughter and husband. She may or may not be qualified, but these "disasterous" controversies are rather overblown.
