How many of you have had your wisdom teethes pulled? Do you honestly believe they were never there for any reason? Of course they where. It is just that we have evolved to the point that we no longer need them.

It seems to be a common theme that with all the evil in the world how can there be a loving God?

And whats your view on the fact the current year is counted as 2007 years since Jesus was born?

When it gets right down to it the atoms that make up your coffee or your car are identical to those you are made of. How can anyone believe that anything can be alive if not for the grace of God?

And, Of course, billions of trillions of cells forms one of us. I honestly believe it takes a lot more faith to actually believe that we are all here by accident than that God created the universe and us.

Atrophy is a fact of live (everything breaks down to it's simplest element if not maintained). Why, then, would simpler elements like billions of nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen and carbon molecules combine to form living cells? Yes, one living cell exists of billions of molecules.

All living cells are made only of hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and some trace elements of carbon. These are all dead elements.

Atheists like to think that the universe is simply there. But the fact is that it would not be there, and neither would any of us if it wasn't for strong and weak nuclear force, electro magnetism and gravity.

I'm encouraged by all the answers I received and wanted to follow up on the same theme.

This is a follow up question to my previous question. And, btw., to those who turned my previous question into an attack on me, it was the famous English philosopher, John Lock who said that atheists couldn't be trusted.

Or, does atheists have any reason not to lie, cheat and steal if they think there is no way anyone will catch them?

This question was asked of me by Casey, 8. A very good question for an eight year old to ask, I thought. If we "older" people were to accept Casey's question as a fact rather than a question, how might it affect us?
