My dad and uncle have been equal partners in a family owned and operated business since 1985.

No legal documents have ever been drafted expressing ownership.

I have worked at the business, off and on, all my life, and I have now been a full-time employee on the payroll for the last 15 years, working alongside my dad every day. We enjoyed our work and were the best at what we did.

Daddy died a couple weeks ago and I have taken over his full half of the business.

My uncle has now told me that he wishes to buy me out.

I need the income and was looking forward to the challenge of filling my dad's shoes.

But, can I even be partners anymore with someone who apparently doesn't wish to be partners with me?

A real estate investor persuaded them to list the entire business not too long ago but neither was really interested in selling but they entertained the idea briefly. It was on the market for $550,000- turn key.

Is half of that price what I should ask him to give me if I decide to sell? Should I ask for more since its probably worth more to him than someone without ties to the shop? How much more.

What do I do now? ?

I need an oil seal for a 26HP Intek, PTO side. Can anybody cross reference this Briggs and Stratton part number to a number that I can use at either Oreilly, Autozone or NAPA? The losers at the local Service Center don't stock it and said it would probably be Monday before they placed their next order and the losers at the parts store can't cross reference it because that would require looking in the parts book, and they don't have the mental capacity to perform that activity. It's on each side about middle ways up on the front section of the hood. It was manufactured in Antwerp Belgium. Is that German for horsepower or something? Do they speak German in Belgium? Lol thx!

It is my primary residence and i paid for the windows out of my own pocket to benefit from the savings on utilities.

My bike has a stretched tank and has been running for about a year now. But now its leaking fuel on the bottom where it was stretched. Apparently, the weld burned a little deep into the fuel tank and a pin hole in the weld needs to be tigged back up. How do I remove the fuel vapors from the tank so I can safely weld it?

Seriously, which is worse? Obama not having a clue where his emergency transport is, or knowing where it is and lying to us about it. So much for "the most transparent administration we will ever know."

But, you know, pictures are really important I guess. Worth the risk of our President not having the option of an emergency evacuation. Worth the estimated $30,000+ it cost to do it. Worth the hysteria and panic of New Yorkers. I can't wait till I turn 65, thirty years from now. I can see it now.

I would like to buy about 2,000 rounds as cheap as possible. And.... for all the critics out there, I know some of the cheaper ammo contain dirty rounds. I have good ammo to take to the range. But, God forbid, in an emergency situation, I'd much rather have a few thousand rounds of dirty ammo than a few hundred rounds of clean ammo. Thanks

Are these good welders? I would like to have one that would weld Aluminum as well as steel, its my understanding you must have an AC/DC for that correct?

I am going to start making custom headers for race cars and custom vehicles. The wire welder I currently use isn't very efficient for this job. I need suggestions as to which Tig welders I need to be looking at. It would be nice if I could an AC/DC welder that would weld aluminum as well as steel. My budget is around $1,000.

Was it gradual, or did it have a definate starting point? Was there a change to some law that sparked it, or did it just happen?

Just wondering. And IF the Economy REALLY is bad, Who does all those cars belong to in the Mall parking lot? And why are all those people standing in line at the cash register? And why are all these people still going to town between 7am and 9am then leaving town between 4pm and 6pm?
