He is 1 year old and is up to date to his rabies vaccination but can he still get them if he were bitten by a rabid animal?

I took my pup, Zeus, in the vet today because he wasn't eating so the vet recommended to put him on dextrose. I took him home with me and I have got alot of problems because he keeps biting the tape and he always moves around so I always have to keep an eye on him. He also began eating a little which is good but I don't know when I shall stop the dextrose because the doctor didn't told me anything. The dextrose lasts about 2 days and they told me to come back in 3 days. It's currently 4h35 in Brisbane and I still haven't slept because I need to look after him incase he needs to pee, do his business, bite the tape and I should also look if the his blood doesn't come out.

Any tips?

This 'friend' of mine keeps on fking annoying me when I tell her I don't want/like children, she keeps on telling me that I'll eventually change my mind. Ugh, I want something that will stick in her mind and to shut her up because she's cracking me up so bad.

Can't she understand that I dislike children?
