I'm going to see Nickelback in February, where should I be to possibly meet them or at least get a good photo opportunity?

I realize this is posted in the sports/hockey area, but I thought you Wings fans would know Joe Louis pretty well.

It was about a town that had a wall around it. They were like Amish people and the adults scared the kids when they tried to venture outside. The kids would go to the woods to try to get to the "outside world" and the adults would dress up in some costume. A blind girl eventually made it out.

OK, I have a guy at work building boat docks. He needs to cut a bunch of wood all different lenghts from 8' long pieces.

Is there a formula or calculator online where I can figure out how many 8' pieces he needs, using the least amount of cuts?

(Basically trying to save money and not have alot of waste)

I remember two girls going out to an old farm house to study, I think. Someone breaks into the home and kills her friend and her family but she escapes. The killer is driving a big van type of vehicle chasing her.

The movie paused to show the killer guy getting a BJ, which turned out to be only a head of a woman, he then tosses the head out of the van when he finishes.

I saw it maybe a year ago, and it wasn't a huge film. I rented it. Sound familier to anyone?

I'm going on a cruise in February and want to stay at the Queen Mary Hotel the night before. Is it just a quick taxi ride to San Pedro where I have to get on the ship?

Also, I'm flying into LAX, how far of a drive is that to the Queen Mary Hotel?

I live and work in rural, northern Michigan. The company I work for just lost out on a huge landscaping and irrigation job because we don't have enough (any) blacks, latinos, hispanics, native Alaskans, Asians, American Indians, or other Pacific Islanders employed here.

The only ones in the above group that live here are American Indians and the all work at the casinos!!!

Does anyone else think this is racist, any why is this legal???
