  • Where to go on holiday in January/February?

    Where has nice summery weather in January/February - not too wet and temperature at least 16 degrees

    Also not too long haul from the UK flying time less that 6 hours.....

  • Should I stop my Venus flytrap flowering in winter?

    My Venus Flytrap has developed a long stalk which will eventually flower.

    It is cold & late autumn here and from what I have read my flytrap should be starting to rest for the winter now.

    A (green-fingered) friend of mine says that the plant must be stressed to start flowering - so I should cut off the stalk.

    But surely if the plant is attempting to flower it must be happy & healthy? It looks very well at the moment with lots of heads.

    Shall I just let it rest or flower?

  • Does ebay have peak selling times?

    I've been selling on ebay and am trying to time the best time to end an auction - such as Sunday evenings about 9pm - in the theory that more people are at home on the internet. Anyone found anyother good times to have an auction finish?
