my friend and i have been in a non committal relationship for several months, although we have only been dating each other. he seems to care alot but only shows it when he wants. when i mention that i am ready to date other people. he gets upset. he doesn't stop me. however, his attention goes from zero to a hundred percent. at any rate, we gave each other our spaces. no pressure even though we really like each other. he said he doesn't want to see me anymore. i am ok with it and have started dating someone. he is having issues. i really don't care anymore because i don't see this as being healthy.

what is his problem? he doesn't want me yet he doesn't want anyone else to have me. i don't think he's normal. i told him to stop calling so i can get on with my life.
