I'm looking for a book I read like last year. It's about a girl who lives in some sort of village with her mother and all the people there are ruled by this one evil guy. They have to work all day to get water (they scrape it off leaves, etc) because it's magical or something. Anyway, if they can't get enough water, they get beaten, and the main character's mother always volunteers and she takes the beatings for the rest of them. The girl has 'special blood' or something and she adds it to the water so they whoever drinks it lives forever (?). She also uses it to heal her mother's wounds from the beatings, but she never heals it fully, so the ruler man won't get suspicious as to how her mother heals so fast. Anyway, a new guard comes to help the "boss", but he is actually a nice person. (I think his name was Franklin or something like that?) He feels bad, but the ruler is paying for his mother's medical bills, etc, so he can't do anything. They fall for each other in the end, and he takes her to this outdoor theater and stuff. She's never been outside the village and stuff. Anyway, once the water tanks are all filled, they have a big celebration. However, when the nice guard guy gets beaten up ( her mother had something to do with it, because she found out about them) she steals all the water to "heal" him and he lives in the end. So a few years go, sometime in 2007 (I think) I rented this DVD and I forgot the name. All I remember is that it was about a couple whose son just died. They meet the main character who apparently looks exactly like their own son who died and want to go to know him, etc. He gets injured (or they injure him) so the couple can spend time with him and nurse him back to health (?) They are mentally ill and slowly get convinced that he is actually their own son. Sometime near the end, they bury the guy alive and in the end, his girlfriend (?) hears him screaming and digs him out.

Does any of this sound familiar? Just post up anything movie you think could be it. Thanks!

Oh, also, the dvd cover shows the guy underground in a coffin or something, I think. I can't remember that well.

I'm looking for a song that played yesterday November 14 sometime between 2:30-3:00 p.m. on 104.3 My FM. It sounds a lot like Nickelback maybe? it was sung be a guy. I think there was a line that said, 'just me and you tonight.' its a slow song. Sorry it's so vague. Just list ANYTHING that could be it. Please help!

Theres a song on the show so you think you can dance that plays everytime one of the dancers go home...it plays when it shows you their journey on the show...sorry theres so little info! please help!

All I know is that that it's about this guy that surfs and he's a lawyer...I think his name was J or something that was only one letter long...umm he meets this girl who has a little brother who has some kind of sickness or disease...hmm...on the front cover theres this guy with a surfboard near the ocean and its in black and white kind of. He has a best friend...oh and his mother abandoned him and at this party he got mad cuz they were playing with his mother's favorite blanket or something...

Its about a single mother who moves into an apartment with her daughter who's pretty young and theres a ghost girl there who died long ago. theres this well/tub like thing on the apartment roof and theres water in there and the girl climbed in on the ladder but she fell in and drowned...she wants the mother to be her own mother and theres one scene near the very end where the ghost girl tries to drown the daughter but the mother agrees to go with her and be her mom to let her own daughter live.
