Hi. My dayghter has asked me to make chicken tikka wraps like they make at her school but mine never seem to turn out the same she says. How can i make a tasty chicken tikka dressing for the chicken. If you know of the actual product i would be very gratefull. Thanks x

Hi, i just tested out my greenhouse heater ready for seed sowing at the end of the month. I have never used one before, an elderly lady gave it to me. It is a Parasene coldframe paraffin heater, the sort of flat type with a black grid over it, apparently it has never been used. when i lit the wick a lot of black smoke was coming from it so i took off the protective grid and it stopped smoking.and a patch of black dust was left on the grid.where it had burnt. What would you advise me to do? Also, how do i put out the flame? Thanks

My friend is moving from her council house to a bungalow as she in unable to cope with her present house due to ill health. i said i would dig up her roses for her. Now, i know i need to prune them first but when i dig them up can i wrap the roots in a bag as she is not moving for another few weeks. I have grown some Hollyhocks this year from seed. They have taken well and i have now potted them individually. Should i plant them into their positions in the garden now or can i leave them in their pots ready to plant out in spring? If so would they be ok in a cold frame? Thanks UK

Hi, i have just dug up a Cordyline which was planted beneath a large tree. It had to be moved as it was getting a lot of leaves and fruit falling between the leaves. As i was trying to dig it out i snapped the main large tap root just below soil level. Do you think it will survive this? I have planted it straight away and watered it. It has lots of fibrous roots around it. Thanks

I bought a second hand table not realising it has had woodworm at some point. I don't think the woodworm are active as i have checked the holes and see no powder in them. Could i fill the holes, and just sand and varnish it? If the wood worm are still there will it be a danger to my home, family? What harm can they do?
