  • SO I know i like her, she knows too, but wont let me know what to do,?

Just started a new job in August and have met someone im interested in.

She's one of my managers, who I thought was really cute and have been pursuing since i started. she seems likes a good girl and id like to date her. I know its improper to mix work and relationships but im just so damn drawn to her.. were young what the heck, (low 20s)

she responded well to my flirts at first, great deep eye contact and very friendly back, but I decided to back off alittle as I didn't want to come off too strong at a new job.

I then later started to pick up my flirts with her, this time the eye contact didnt seem to be as strong but happened more random.,, overall everything seemed more genuine. i alsoStarted to kino lightly.

Mostly arm brushes/light-grabs when telling jokes , nothing to dangerous as I am at work after all. She never moves away or acts distressed, and has initiated contact with me two or three times.

I KNOW that she knows that I like her, my flirts are pretty strong and i can kinda read her "vibes", she knows.

she also shows some interest in me, but nothing over the top. Just talking/questioning and playful gestures that she initiates often. I feel that she may be holding back clear signals because of work,

But if she CLEARLY knows im interested in her, and shes NOT negatively responding to my flirts, I should be able to advance and just ask to hang with her outside of work right?

  • energetic dog acting lethargic and uninterested?

My 2 year old shiatsu poodle mix has been acting very tired since I got home from work last night. Hes usually a ball of energy, but now isn't even interested in any games or food. just sleep.

as far as symptoms go, there is no vomiting, no diarrhea, loss of coordination or visible pain, just lethargy, and lack of appetite,

I suspect he ate alittle slice of avocado left on a table yesterday afternoon, I know its not a good thing for dogs, but im not really sure if that could have been a cause.

I plan to take him to the vet in the morning, but look for some insight on if this sounds serious or just a tired dog. though he never acts tired for so long,

  • Is she into me or just not interested? longer but honest question?

need some advice on a friend im pursuing, or attempting to,. Little background:

I met this friend at work, a "café job " which ive just started 5 weeks ago. pretty much everyone who works here is around my age in the low 20s, and ive gotten along great with everyone thankfully.

Anyway a couple weeks ago I started working more along side a new friend, "Samantha". From when I first met Samantha at my new job I was sure to make it clear I was interested in in her, for the first few days I worked with her I held eye contact way more than normal while talking,. I also would joke around with her plenty and try to tease,, shes played along, and never given me a negative reaction to my flirts,

After our second day together (we don't see eachother each shift) I asked her that she should talk to some of her friends about going a fest we had talked about, her body language seemed very open and submissive, she blushed, said ok as we both kinda smiled/laughed,,, I didn't even really want to go to the fest actually, I was just trying to make it clear I was into her without being a creep at work, and I think she had got it.

since then we have only worked a few more times, some where it was just us two at the business. Our eye contact levels have seemed to drop, but she has initiated conversation probably just as much as me, and will ask me small talk questions if I don't say too much at a certain point while working..shes even brought up randomly a conversation about guys approaching her and how she shot them down, making witty comments about the guys,,,,

wasn't sure if it was some sort of reaction test or just friendly talk lol,,but we have also shared personal life struggles during a few deeper conversations

The last day we worked together we had a couple more moments where my attraction was obviously known, this was the day where it was just us two at the shop,,, the first was when Samantha was preparing an item and I was just watching/examining how she was going about it, something rather normal for me as a new person at wrk, I would have watched if it was anyone.

She looked at me a bit puzzled I could tell, as I had just moved physically a bit close to her, I looked and said "im just watching you" ,, meaning watching the work she was doing, but she responded with.

"oh,,thats a bit odd," in a slow pitch voice while looking at me in the eyes,,i could tell she was surprised/nervous,,,

I immediately started laughing as I told her about the misunderstanding, she realized pretty quickly what I actually meant as she apologized while laughing with me,

This made it pretty clear, even though I thought so, that she felt my advances in the past. I don't think she would have responded in a similar fashion if she didn't think I had been into her,

Thinking I hadn't done enough in the day though before she left I told her since she had my number (for work related reasons) that she could call/text me whenever she wanted, which she just responded too with a sweet smile, an ok, and a bye at, she left work right after.

However when I first glanced at her before she left she looked as if she knew I was about to ask/say something of the nature, I sensed that she knew exactly what I was trying to do,,,

now comes the part I even know was a bit lame/too much,

she had mentioned she was gonna get some food from a place right around the shop after work, so I texted her basically immediately after she left jokingly asking to bring me back some food, ,she didn't reply,

don't know if it was just too much too soon, or if she thought me asking her to bring me food was rude, or if it was some test to see my reaction,,,shes given only neutral/positive reactions in physical contact, so I don't think it was a rejection sign...

I haven't yet worked again with Samantha and wont for a few days, pondering whether I should just lay off with extra gestures like asking to hang out, (which I haven't asked directly) , and just be work friends if she doesn't give any effort,

or continue with what im doing and build even more,

or just be super direct with her already,

Thanks for your time and reading,

  • dog tore nail , is this okay?

My dog tore a nail on his front right paw 3 days ago, i got him to vet yesterday thankfully and he seems to be doing much better,

however im reading that with this type of wound a course of antibiotics is usually given along with pain meds, the vet said he had given a shot of antibiotics/anesthesia and that it would do the job. though he didnt say specifics and was pretty busy. His line has been busy every time ive called today,

Does the course of action taken by the vet sound normal? id hate to remove the bandage in a day or two and find an infection, but i cant remove it now and check because i wont be able to put it back on,

That wasn't the first prescription but In the past I would schedule appointments to get a new prescription, if I were to call and ask for a refill/renewal what are the chances? They're usually booked a whole month at a time so that's why I'm asking

  • Opiate alternatives besides NSAIDs?

I suffer from scoliosis related chronic back pain, doctor and physical therapist say ill probably be in the same state for years. The pain is most likely caused by nerve pressure

So I'm only 19 and have been on opiates for the past few months, not daily. But I'd like to know if there are other pain killers out there?

Also I have gastritis and occasional acid reflux , so I'm not supposed to take nsaid's . And tylenol sucks for anything not a headache or fever,

Are there any alternatives otc or rx ? Would like to stay away from steroids also

  • Why do Christians believe in "satan"?

Why do Christians believe in Satan in the sense of some underworld king, if in Judaism Satan is a part of God and is used as a symbol to test humans?

In the book of job Satan clearly is commanded by God to attack job. But yet I always here Christians say something like "this is not the work of God, but of the DEVIL! " as if Satan has its own power, or is some superhuman out of a Greek myth,

The Satan in the new testament is the same as the old, Jesus never said Satan is the evil king of the world, so why did Christians edit the Jewish meaning of Satan from merely being a symbol to being its own entity that people should be scared of?

This would be like arguing with an author that his writings actually meant something else than what he said it meant. How can Christians tell Jews that their definition of the Abrahamic Satan is wrong, if Jews were first and Jesus didn't command otherwise? ?

  • Dog snapped over toy, advice?

I have an unfixed nearly 2yr old shih tzu/poodle mix, with me he is very obedient and non aggressive. From a young age I took away toys and gave him some petting, and would give the toy back. I tried to get the message across that he has no reason to think I'm taking away his possessions forever so he wouldn't be too territorial.

Now he'll only give me aggressive behavior when he has a treat like a bone or a table scrap. No he doesn't beg me either, I just like to spoil him. After the bone is chewed on for an hour or so he doesn't mind if I take it & tease him/play with the bone.

The problem is that he's not the same with my mother, and gets extremely aggressive when she attempts to grab a pillow he humps sometimes, while he doesn't care at all if I take it while he's using it.

    Should I

    A) leave it alone.

    B) have my mom trade with treats until he's cool.

C)get rid of pillow. (Its a great timewaster tho) D) have my mom change her overall behavior with dog,

she tends to give in to his demands for dog snacks & acting wild when on a walk. While he doesn't even whine with me and I wait till he sits before I put on leash and open the door.

    D) something else?

  • Cause of intense inside knee pain, both knees?

Hi I'm 19 & have had aches in my knees in the past but currently the pain is just off the charts compared to the past, and I'm just lying flat on my back.

The pain feels like its in the bone even though I know that's probably not it, buy its just this dull achy feeling that is totally static .centered in the middle of the inside knees,

I haven't had an injury, and haven't been doing too much physically since winter break started .

I also get widespread back pain, which is from scoliosis my doctor says. Luckily I have pain pills..

Can the two be related, and what are possible causes for my inside knee pain to suddenly worsen?

  • Is scoliosis a spinal cord disease?

I ask this because I suffer chronic scoliosis pain and cannot sit for over 20minutes without pain occurring. At an hour Its severe and last the rest of the day nearly. At that point I'm only thinking of taking some of my Vicodin which I'm prescribed for said condition.

Illinois is considering to legalize medical cannabis, but chronic pain is not an able condition, the most general category is spinal cord diseases. It list a few but says others not listed are also included.

I'm only 19 and would rather be vaporizing or eating mj then growing dependent on opiates for the rest of my freaking life. The doctor & PT said ill have chronic pain for years! That means opiates for years!!

  • Why was salvia made illegal so brashly?

I'm not a salvia user but am curious as to why the make salvia illegal fad even began, and what were its supposed benefits. I am writing a paper on it.

It seems many logical fallacies were applied when discussing this drug, assumptions that it MUST damage your brain because it's mind alternating were made even though its extremely low in toxicity. And no correlation has been established between the two.

There was a teen suicide in Delaware where the medical examiner attributed the teens suicide to salvia just because he was a user, even though no trace amounts of salvia were present in the autopsy.

His case was the poster example for the campaign to make salvia illegal. But,

A>B does not mean A caused B. Is that not common sense?

This kid obviously had other issues in his life besides salvia, and for anyone to call salvia the root problem in his suicide implies a rejection of science. Its really is 100% illogical.

But yet the thousands of kids who get alcohol poisoning or die after wrecking there car, aren't a legitimate reason to ban alcohol.

Were there any REAL reasons to make salvia illegal besides,

"Oh thats weird and different from what I've done, lets ban it!" Aka stupid ideology and laws based on subjective morals and opinions?

  • May i have Arachnoiditis? please view?

I'm a 19 year old male with mild/moderate scoliosis and a raised left shoulder.

I cannot sit for over 15mins in the same position and by the time I reach an hour my back is absolutely killing me all over the place.

My pain is centered in 2 spots when sitting, my lower back (left and right side, alternating) and in the middle/upper right under shoulder blades and its centered on my spine. The pain radiates up,down, and side to side.

I often get spasms all across my back, and a burning/pins and needless/ bubbles popping feeling in the middle of my spine in the middle/upper region.

Physical therapy helps somewhat, as do pain killers, but my doc thinks its nothing more than scoliosis caused muscle pain and hasn't ordered an MRI..

Don't my symptoms sound asif something more is at play? From my understanding most cases of scoliosis are not painful, but my pain is severe...

Well I'm a 19yr old male and over the past few months I've been going to physical therapy for a knee injury, while their I've become alittle close with a 29yr old woman.

We have a lot in common and have great conversations about anything and everything, she seems like a long lost best friend and I feel a care for her,

She is a newlywed though, and I'm not sure if its appropriate for me to ask her for an email or something just to check in with eachother periodically,

I might be a bit dishonest if I said there wasn't some mutual attraction, but my intentions are well...

Our sessions have ended, but on the last one she told me that if I find myself in the area to stop by and talk to her..it was alittle sad saying goodbye..if I do see her again would it be "acceptable" by societal standards to ask her for email or number? Or is that a no no?
