you would think these teams had been going head to head for decades the way the media hypes this "rivalry" up....

Seattle wasn't even an NFC team until about 11 years, and until very recently, BOTH of these teams were pretty much garbage with well under .500 records year in and year out

don't get me wrong, it has turned into a nice little rivalry the last couple years, but the media tries to make it sound like Bears v Packers or Giants v Cowboys

is this just another example of NFL trying to manufacture rivalry and fan bases??

if you ask me, the SF v Seattle rivalry has a loooong way to go before it deserves the kind of hype it gets

and is anyone else sick of hearing about the "12th man" ??

may be they should be referring to the REFs who have won some key games for the Hawks over the last couple seasons

but why?

who did he ever beat?

i don't understand why so many people swear by so many of the older fighters, who in many cases none of us alive today have ever even seen fight

guys like Grebb, Walker, Langford, Fitzimmons etc....

most of these guys have nothing more than a few 30 second clips of video evidence to go off.......so why all the blind allegiance to them???

and why do we belittle modern fighters next to them?

most of the ATGs before the 1940s fought segregated competition to begin with....

but forget THAT, why do we not give credit to the evolution of the game?

lets compare to MMA for a second.....MMA & UFC are relatively new sports, with the first UFC being broadcast in 1993

but anyone with a half a brain can see that the UFC fighters of the early 90s were not nearly as complete as the UFC fighters of today....BECAUSE OF EVOLUTION Of the sport and of the athletes

UFC fighters of today would mop the floor with UFC fighters of the early 90s.....

the best illustration of this was the 2006 match between UFC untouchable legend Royce Gracie getting absolutely dominated and stopped by Matt Hughes, a fighter of considerable less fame and legacy

so, if UFC could evolve so dramatically over a 20 year period, why don't we apply the same logic to a sport that has been evolving for over 120 years???

but which of these fighters do you think was the best (at 175), and WHY do you think that....and do you believe that the 175 division has historically been a weak division?

which of these fighters fought in the toughest era of light heavies?

IMO opinion, it is a toss-up between Spinx and B-Hop...

Spinks came up in the early 80s when the division was strong w/ guys like Dwight Braxton, Eddie Mustaffa Muhamed, and Mathew Saad Muhammed (though Saad and Spinx never fought)

but i give an edge to Hopkins, as a 2 time lite-heavy champ, as a guy who evened the score against his oldest and greatest rival, and a guy who consistently beat fighters 15 and 20 years younger than him, not to mention twice breaking the record for oldest man to win a championship

Compare Spinx's record vs common opponents:

Cassius Clay (1-1)

Larry Holmes (2-1)

Gerry Cooney (1-1)

Dwight Braxton (1-1)

to that of the K brothers:

Chris Byrd (2-1)

notice the obvious disparity among strength of opponents...Spinx brothers are 3-2 against TWO All Time Top 10 heayweights in history of time

no-one on Ks brothers resume (outside Lennox) belongs anywhere near even the Top 50!!!

The BEST Klitchko opponent could may be at best be worthy of a Gerry Cooney status

this comparison ALONE speaks volumes about the Ks reign and their legacies compared to other legends and eras

and to think the Spinx wreaked such a havoc while both being at a size disadvantage in many of their biggest fights....

compared to the Cautious Klitchkos who will jab (and clinch) their way to dull, boring, disinterested, and uninspired Decision victories over much smaller, less athletically gifted competition

oh yeah, and Spinx's were 15 round fighters

he will need a comeback opponent,

this bout could prove to be epic, a clash of 2 superstars at either ends of their careers

I recently applied for my local police department and just completed the written exam.

I feel I have few things working in my favor that include current POST certification, a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, current employment as a prisoner transport agent, as well as previous work in bail enforcement, which has involved successful apprehensions, arrests, and tons of experience filling out booking paperwork

i also have a good reference in a Police Captain from another department, who has encouraged me to apply and told me to use him as a reference

however, i have three major red flag concerns:

1. an Other Than Honorable discharge from the military.....this discharge is over 10 years ago, but i have been unsuccessful in getting it upgraded to Honorable

2. Bad Credit, which includes a bankruptcy filling in 2009

3. previous Habitual Marijuana usage, as well as previous use of other street drugs

what is my best approach to dealing with these red flags should i get selected for further evaluation?

am i wasting my time by applying in the first place?

AP was still young and fresh and would still have his record breaking seasons ahead of him, and Favre could have gone out on top just like his old nemesis John Elway

i wear an exposed vest for work, and i want to switch from hip carrying to chest carrying my firearm

i have ordered the Blackhawk adapter paddle to mount my Blackhawk holster to, and it is designed to be threaded into molle straps

my vest does not come with molle straps.....is there some kind of attachment i can get that can go on my ballistic vest??, or will i need to purchase an entire molle vest to wear over my ballistics vest??

i wear an exposed ballistic vest (IIIA) for work, and i want to transition from carrying my sidearm from hip to chest....

my holster has a paddle attachment which easily slides into the chest area of the vest...

it has a clamping action which holds it in to place, will this cause any damage to the material of my vest??

The suspect was released from custody within 48 hours, citing "self defense', and he will not be charged due to "lack of evidence"

San Francisco pretty much unanimously supported Trayon Martin (i don't really know why because that happened 3000 miles away in Florida), and of course there were riots across the bridge in Oakland after the Zimmerman verdict

interestingly, there doesn't seem to be as much as a peep from anyone over this murder.

no one is demanding the police chief step down....

no one is organizing protests....

no one put the killers address up on twitter...

no one put a bounty out on this killers head

where is all the outrage?

why are there not CNN panels discussing this murder?
