Frayed several areas of the cord for my vacuum. (I guess it rubbed against the wall when the cord was too tight). Do I need electrical tape or can I safely cover the frayed areas with duct tape? It is past the black cover down to the white but I don't see any exposed wires.

Looking to upgrade my phone while I still qualify under premier. I really want a physical keyboard so I am thinking that the EVO shift or the Samsung Epic are the way to go. I currently have a Samsung Moment which is slow/choppy. I also have a very hard time talking on the phone without pressing buttons with my cheek. Anyone go from a Samsung Moment to one (or both) of these phones?

Can someone suggest some tips for dealing with a jealous dog? We recently adopted a young dog and i thought my 4 year old dog would be the one that is jealous. He seems to be doing fine but the new dog is really attached to me. When ever I try to give praise and attention to my older dog he butts in and tries to get some. There has never been any violence, it is just kinda annoying that he won't let the other dog get any love and attention.

I am getting ready to get a new smart phone. I am under contract with Sprint so my choices are limited. I currently ahve the ultra slow/ sluggish Samsung Moment. My choices are the Samsung Epic, HTC EVO or the new EVO shift.

I know the EVO shift has a slower processor than the Epic and the EVO and no front facing camera. It does however have a slide out keyboard (which I am partial to). Am I going to notice a major difference between the EVO and the EVO Shift?

The Epic is my third choice since I feel as if Samsung created the Moment and then forgot about it completely.

Was looking at the Nikon CoolPix s8100 mainly because of its ability to shoot pictures at a high rate of speed. I am looking for a small sized point and shoot camera that has that ability, takes good pictures in low light situations and is not too expensive (Less than $250). I was considering an entry level SLR but I am not really ready for that.

I have a small cricut. I guess it is the Cricut Personal Cutter. Can it handle vinyl? If so, where do you order vinyl sheets for it? Would it require a new blade?

I am making brownies for the first time using a cookie bar pan. I can't seem to find any directions for how long I should adjust my bake time to. I am using a Betty Crocker box recipe.

I don't want to get the flipper Blu-Ray/ DVD unless it has stuff on it that you can't get anywhere else. My plan is to buy the single movie disk Blu ray (20 bucks) and then by the 2 disc special edition dvd. I like to be able to take my DVDs in the car with me, so the flipper doesn't seem like a good idea. Does the 2 disc DVD have the same special features as the flipper dvd?

Can you use regular panty liners with washable dog diapers? They don't have the liners at petsmart. This would be for a small dog who is marking.

None of my Wii remotes seem to be working. The area in front of the sensor bar is cleared out. There are new batteries. I have tried the "tap technique" recommended by the webiste. Any other suggestions? All the remotes are allowing me to use the home button and the plus and minus buttons but the cursor will not appear.

I know authorizing a new computer allows you to play the music but does it mean I can play the movies too? I want to authorize my netbook for traveling.

What is the difference in performance? Any suggestions as to brand of RAM?

Hey, my dog needs his next month of flea treatment. He is also due for a groom. Is it better to hold of on the flea treatment until after the grooming or get the grooming first? He is a mini schnauzer that we keep sorta low for the summer. I don't to apply the Frontline and then it all get cut or washd off. On the flip side, I hate to get him groomed and then have the flea treatment iritate his skin or something.

My dog seems to have an agressive fear (especially while on leash) of young people and little kids especially. We tried to slowly introduce him to a pre-teen girl the other day. She approached him slowly, allowed her to sniff and he seemed okay. She didn't make any sudden movements, but all of a sudden he snapped and started aggressively barking (she was unharmed).

What should we have done in this instance to help our dog overcome that fear? When he meets new people in side the hosue he barks gives them a sniff and comes in for love, never any fear of him attacking. We dont have any kids in the house so he rarely sees young people up close.

Just upgraded my Samsung Moment to 2.1 (yay!). I am trying to decide on a messaging app. I previously had ChompSMS but was considering Handcent? Which one is better? Or does the messenger for 2.1 make up for what was lacking in 1.5?

Having beef tenderloin for dinner, the ones that come n the package already wrapped in bacon. They are frozen solid. Should I defrost them in the microwave and then marinate them or just pour some marinade on them and let them thaw some? Any suggestions for a marinade? I have Dales, Soy Sauce. i probably have some wine somewhere too...

Recently switched my mini-schnauzer from Science Diet (lamb and rice mini-bites) to Natures Recipe. I did the slow progression and did not notice any upset tummy. It is now about a month and half later and he is completely eating the new food (which i picked after doing some research on 'quality' and decided to step up a brand). Lately he has been having gas and runny poop but he is not the least bit lethargic.

Could his tummy still be trying to get used to the knew food after so long? Any suggestions? He seems to like eating it, and there is never an immediate reaction. Just within the last week or so have I noticed the gas issue.

When ever I make french toast (using a very basic recipe) it seems like my first piece of toast gets ALL the cinnamon. Is there a tip for preventing that?
