My rabbit is now about 5 years old, a broken blue dutch rabbit. He's aways been fine, but he's shedding terribly and is making NO effort to groom himself. He likes to get out and play, but isn't very social and has never been a lap rabbit, so grabbing him up and grooming him is not an option. I can reach in the cage and groom him a bit, but he smashes up in the corner and I can't reach him well. Is he just old? Any ideas? Thanks!

I was wondering if it was possible to run a plastic binder cover (like the kind you use with a comb binding machine) through my printer? I'm not sure if the ink would even actually stick to it... or if it might even melt in my new printer? I have a new Kodak ESP3... so I don't want to mess it up! Anyone know? I know you can buy clear sheets made for the inkjet printers... but I didn't know if these were different... Thanks in advance.

I was using NuvaRing, but had a localized allergic reaction to it, so I decided to go back to the pill. Unfortunately, I missed my regular time to start the pill pack, so I figured I'd wait until my next period and just skip any bc this month. But one week after my regular period stopped, I've started again! I'm not bleeding heavily, or even all the time... it's more of a dark red discharge. Can I go ahead and start this Sunday? Or should I wait until my regular time of the month? What would you girls do?

How do I change this so that it does not change resolution? I can't find a particular place in the program properties, etc. to change it! It's driving me batty... Thanks in advance...

I have an 8 wk old male kitten that has lived with us for a month. This past week, someone asked me to take in an adorable 5 month old abused male chihuahua, and I did. My problem is that my kitten is VERY agressive. He can be sweet, but spends most of his time with his teeth and/or claws sunk into something... and he clearly prefers living objects to the millions of cat toys I have bought to keep him occupied. He stalks the poor pup and then wraps him self completely around (and he is larger than the pup) and bites the bejesus out of the poor puppy. Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this behavior in the kitten? I want to keep them both indoors, but if I can't correct this problem I will have to make the kitten an outdoors cat. The kitten is currently intact, but is scheduled to be neutered on August 15th. My vet wouldn't do it any sooner. Any ideas or methods to break the kitten from this agressive behavior would be greatly appreciated! I'm at my wits end!

Does anyone know why all of a sudden I would have a pencil eraser sized spot on my chin that seems to no longer have pigmentation? It's lighter than the rest of my skin, and I'm concerned something might be wrong. My husband says it's not very noticable... but it's a spotlight to me!! Does anyone else have this problem?! Last night my husband was accidentally shot in the side with a 3.5" galvanized nail from a nail gun. The nail hit a knot in the wood and shot off sideways and 3" of the nail imbedded in his side. I do know that the nail was brand new out of the box and therefore clean. I am aware of the risk of infection and tetanus... However, what I am concerned about is what about the galvanization? What will that do to him? He's keeping it clean but it's looking worse and worse by the hour... AND he has to work today. Anyone know if there is any danger from the galvanized dip on the nail? I just found out my 14 y.o. son's girlfriend is cutting herself. I'm worried about my very intelligent bleeding heart son who is gifted and talented being involved with a girl who gets low grades... claims to be emo, bi sexual and is cutting herself. Her parents are very overpowering, and she has not even been allowed to come to our house to meet us yet. My son supposedly thinks he's going to marry this girl one day. Please, someone who has experienced this situation... tell me what to do! I know telling him he can't see her is going to NOT work. How do I help him? Or help him help her?! OH! I hate this situation! Thanks in advance...

Just bought a new Brute 6.5hp self propelled lawn mower from the store yesterday. Briggs and Stratton motor. I put the whole 18oz oil bottle in the mower seeing as it says the capacity is 18-20oz. The dipstick (after wiping and reinserting and then checking) indicates full. The oil in it when checking the lvl is already black? Only about one hour's worth of use... When checking the lvls it is also slightly smoking from the oil fill hole. Not smoking from the exhaust. Plenty of clean fresh fuel (just bought it, new gas can). It has a freshfuel start system and starts immediately, but presented with the very lightest of grass thickness it slows and dies. What the heck?! This thing was $240... Any ideas? So frustrated!! I just want to mow my lawn. Oh, and yes, everything is BRAND new, so no dirty carb. Air filter is of course new and present. Spark plug is fine and attached (lol)... Thanks in advance!!

I have a 3.5 year old son who has food texture issues. He's a bit of a control freak, but I really think this is a sensory issue with him. Does anyone know how to desensitize or help him learn to tolerate certain foods that he has issues with (i.e. spaghetti noodles, hamburger meat, etc.)?

When he is made to eat the foods he has issues with (NOT forcefed... no abuse here, promise) he breathes heavily before it goes in, and then it takes him forever to close his mouth because he's obviously anxious. Once the food is in his mouth he sometimes gags, and has to be reminded to chew. Once he chews, he'll chew and chew... and then have to be reminded to swallow, which he does with difficulty. He will admit that the food tastes good, but he just seems to have sensory issues with it.

My child is totally normal (if a bit thin)... talked early and is very social and vocally precocious... no developmental delays. I'm at a loss and would love to hear any suggestions! Thanks!!

When I eat a little sugar (like a mini frosted cupcake) it causes a huge sugar crash, like I need to nap. Is this a telltale sign of anything? I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism with my second son but it went away after my pregnancy... 8 years ago.

Oprah was talking about hypothyroidism not too long ago and I have many signs... just wondering if the sugar crash bit rings any bells with anyone. Thanks in advance!

How many grandparents out there are guilty of treating one set of grandkids differently than another. Say, treating your daughters kids differently than your son's kids? How do you justify this?

My inlaws treat my sister in law's children totally different! They watch them all the time, buy them EVERYTHING they ask for, but never buy my kids anything unless it's a bday or whatever. They spend all their time with the other grandkids and never any time with my kids! When my kids play sports, I have to BEG them to come to a game... and I'm lucky if I get one game attended per season. One year, I coached a sport, and got my nephew on my team... Miraculously, my inlaws were at EVERY GAME! Because my nephew was there. How wrong is this?! I HATE IT! I feel like my children (3, 8 and 13) are looking at themselves and saying "why don't they love me the same?"... It's terrible!

We all live in the same town within blocks of each other, and the kids go to school together also...

My nephew found a kitten abandoned and it is now about 8 wks old. They were unable to keep the kitten so now I have it... of course, lol. My question is that the cat doesn't seem to be able to see me clearly from about 6ft+ away. It can clearly see movement, but acts leary until you are close enough or call it. I'm wondering if this is the reason it was separated from its mother... Any opinions? Thanks!
