Christ said calling him Lord,Lord was meaningless--so why do Christians believe the opposite?

In Matthew 5 ;38,39 Christ clearly teaches that an eye for an eye is against Gods Laws yet it seems many Christians want to completely ignore Christs teachings--one wonders why they still bother to call themselves Christians at all!

We all know that Jews refuse to worship in a Christian Church as they consider Jesus was a fake & Christianity as a personality cult--they still await the real Christ to fulfill Torah prophesy.

Which begs the question why a so called Christian nation so heavily support another nation that despises their religion?

Pentecostals have always been taught that the Latter Day Saints are a cult--does it bother them to support a "cultist"for President?

Jesus Christ has been mocked in many films--Christ is common as a swear word--yet we don't see the fanatical riots and murders that we see daily from Muslims---could it be that Christianity is more mature & tolerant than Islam?

Both seem to pretend they own God--both seem to think it is their place to judge & condemn "others"--perhaps the question should have read "What is the difference between Pharisees & Christians?"

Christ clearly stated that "the Kingdom of God" will NEVER come with signs(Luke 17:20,21)--yet we still see doomsday cults yelling about "signs of the end times".

Why?

Before I receive all the "out of context" rants--consider this-In the late 1960's John Lennon said it seemed like the Beatles were more popular than Jesus Christ-this "evil"inflamed the fundamentalists in the Bible belt of America to call for public burnings of all Beatles music--one of those Christian fundamentalists was Mark Chapman--John Lennon's assassin

Throughout history "religious" folk think they own God and have a divine right to see sin in others & condemn them constantly.Christ accurately described such people as "hypocrites & vipers"--not much has changed over time.

Was Jesus a guru to the Jews just as Buddha was a guru to the Hindu?

Now that most Protestant churches have granted women equality in ordination when will the largest sect of Christianity (Catholics) also treat women as equal?

Jesus quotes from Malachi 3:1, where the messenger appears to be a prophetic figure who is going to appear. According to Malachi 4:5, this messenger is “the prophet Elijah,” whom Jesus identifies here as John the Baptist

However when John the Baptist was asked by the Jews if he was Elijah he said no.

John 1:21 They asked him, “Then who are you? Are you Elijah?”

He said, “I am not.”

“Are you the Prophet?”

He answered, “No.”

Who was telling the truth??
