Ive heard that catfishes have nasty spines on their pectoral/dorsal fins and that there is a special way to grab them to avoid getting stuck by the spines. i got a peice of splinter from my guitars fretboard and its deep into my finger. its entered my finger like sideways, so its lying flat on the fingerprint side of my index finger. ive heard of techniques like putting potatoes on it, baking soda, some over the counter paste, bread poultice and such, and i want to know what is te quickest and most effetive remedy. i DONT wanna cut my finger with anything cuz its a little deep in there. that shits pissing me off. or maybe i should let it heal on its own, but i dont want any infection. any help would be greatly appreciated.
