I don´t understand, if gravity is constantly accelerating, say an artificial satellite or even the moon moving with uniform circular motion around the earth, where does all the energy comes from to accelerate those bodies? Should´t the earth or the object with the larger gravity sometimes "run out" of gravity or is gravity an endless source of energy that can accelerate all its satellites endlessly? If this is the case, could somehow that energy be used to generate clean energy for human use?

Are these prices somehow mutually agreed between the respective central banks? for instance, the Euro/dollar price between the ECB and the Federal Reserve?, if so, how does it work? do they exchange information about the demand and supply and based on that they simply set a price? thanks

I´ve seen several times, the players seem to hit the balls more than once in a fraction of second, when they try to swiftly change the direction of the ball, I wonder if it would be allowed to hit the ball carefully pointing upwards, so that the ball elevates a few meters, and when the ball falls the player can hit it much harder and without the fear of the net. I´ve never seen such a very risky strategy, so I guess it´s not allowed, and I know if allowed, it would be highly riskyy and only for a few cases but I wonder if the tennis rules says something about hitting the ball twice with the racket (of course the ball should never touch the ground more than once) anyone knows?? thanks

It´s the capital city of the biggest economy in the world, and yet it has a relatively small population and its economy is small in coparison to giants like NY, Los Angeles, Chicago or Houston. In other countries, capital cities are, if not the biggest, one of the biggest cities of their countries like London, Tokyo, Berlin, Paris or Beijing, is this because there´s a special law or system that limits on purpose the size of the city?? if so, why?? or was this process of becoming a strong political but a weak economic and population centre a random development overtime?? thanks!!

Hay veces que ya creo que el nombre del canal es una burla hacia la audiencia.

Hace un año recibí la señal History Channel en cable (Argentina) y me gustó la idea de ver un canal donde muestren algo de historia entre tanta programación de ficciónes, actualidad o entretenimiento mediocre, pero desde entonces he visto que casi nunca muestran historia, y cuando hay historia es sobre 2da guerra, nazis y uno que otro especial de jesus en Pascua pero de eso no salen: algunos de los programas históricos: la 2da guerra mundial, nazi diabólico, megaestructuras nazis. No me parece mal que haya documentales del nazismo pero por qué tanta insistencia con ese único tema y encima con un tono sensacionalista más que científico, cuando la historia va desde miles de años antes de cristo hasta pasado el año 2000?? . La programación de History es puro programa de realities super aburridos que no tienen casi nada que ver con historia, y ni hablar de la extensa programación sobre temas extraterrestres también con un tono sensacionalista, el canal encuentro tiene muucha más historia y nisiquiera es de historia, No deberían cambiarle el nombre para no engañar al televidente?? Alguien sabe por qué es así??

I read, old english, a few centuries in the past, had three different articles (fem, masc. and neutral), declinations and cases similar to the current german language, I wonder how this radical change happened, did the government or some authority by that time changed the grammar and imposed them in the schools, and then in the population? or the simplification process originated in the population and spreaded to the elites and english authorities and institutions?, after all.. the english language and its grammar since that time has stayed pretty stable, anyone knows? thanks!

die deutsche Fassung des Lieds, vor allem die von Marlene Dietrich gesungen wird, ist äusserst traurig, die englische Fassung ist hingengen sogar ein bisschen heiter in Ton und hat einen anderen Text. Wurden diese Marlene Dietrich Fassungen absichtlich während des Kriegs aufgenommen um die Deutschen zu entmütigen und die allierte zu begeistern oder ist das nur ein Zufall und vielleicht hat Marlene dieses Lied noch vor dem Krieg veröffentlicht?

Apart from the intended portrayals, they are strikingly similar in look and attitude, specially when compareing with Young Marlene Dietrich and Young Madonna, my question is, did Madonna ever met Marlene?

im Buch von George Friedman, "Die nächsten hundert Jahre", er sagt eine polnische Vormachtstellung in Europa vorher, und dass in einer möglichen dritten WK, mitten im 21 Jahrhundert, Poland mit anderen Verbundeten wie Tschechien und die USA, Deutschland und Frankreich besiegen wird. Es ist merkwürdig dass gerade ein Land wie Poland dass militärisch, wirtschaftlich und technologisch, zurzeit in Europa weit abgeschlagen ist. Gibt es überhaupt einen vernünftigen Basis für Friedman´s Vorhersage?

In George Friedman´s book The Next 100 Years, he predicts a poland supremacy in Europe and that a posible WW3 will lead to Poland with some Eastern europe allies like Czech republic, defeting Germany and France. I wonder if this has some real foundation given that Poland currently lacks any economic or military power and is thounsand miles away from countries like Germany or the UK in terms of technology

why is that pple only vote for democrats or republicans, are americans too conservative to trust other parties?

With all the advances in technology in recent years like drones, cyberwarefare, sophisticated satellites, big data etc. it seems ilogical that the entire fate of a country like the USA, the biggest economy and by far the most advanced technology worldpower, lies in the hands of some, thousands of miles away russian, china or korean leaders with its nuclear weapons pointing to america. Does the US defense has some kind of protection system against this? I don´t know much about defense technology but it doesn´t seem too difficult to create some drone or antimisile system which could detect, track and destroy a nuclear threat before it detonates on american ground, am I right?

verschmutztes Wasser ausgesetzt, geschweige denn, dass die verschmutzte Luft vom Wind

Alguien me puede explicar brevemente cuales son estas diferencias? me refiero a, por ejemplo, los diferentes tipos de "clases" de musulmanes, en Irak, por ejemplo, hay creo, diferentes grupos y además los de isis etc etc, además me imagino que los musulmanes de iran o Egipto o turquia o incluso dentro de estos países no deben ser los mismos entre si, alguien me explica?? gracias!!

Deutschland liegt mitten im Schengenraum sodass, die Flüchtlinge kommen nur aus Länder mit denen Deutschland keine gemeinsame Landesgrenze hat. Wie bringt die Polizei sie aus dem Land? Bringt sie bis zur Grenze mit anderem EU Land das wiederum das gleiche macht bis der Flüchtlinge aus dem Schengenraum ist? Zahlt die Bundesrepublik das Flugticket zu ihrem Land? wie geht das?

Recien busque en juegos yahoo y llegué a una página que dice que ya no existe ese serivicio, si es así toda una época se termina.... jugaba y chateaba en esas salas desde que empecé a usar internet a principios de milenio.
