Heading there for Fri-Sat night in a few weeks. Where's a casual dance club or pub that are hopping, popular places? We're doing the historic stuff during the day and want to eat some good food and chill. Any good restaurants would be nice too, maybe $40-50 per person max, preferably Indian food!

All the googling I've done pretty much turns up legal issues or whatever "research" I find focuses on placating the angry non-custodial parent.

I just want to know if there's research on whether children do better in "every other day &every other weekend" or "1 week at a time" custody or whatever, assuming that parents' problems are not an issue.

All of these people claiming that astrology hasn't messed up are simply wrong. Astrology stopped following actual star movement long ago and has no bearing on reality, neither human personality not actual constellation activity.

I see so many people saying the deficit is higher under Obama than under Bush, I can't argue with that. But is it the whole story? What about the fact that the RATE of increase has dropped dramatically under Obama?

For the last 2 years Bush almost tripled the deficit each year, while under Obama it has increased by 10%

I want to learn to read the Greek classics. I already know 5 languages, so feel comfortable teaching myself. Anyone who has taken such a course, what is a good dictionary to have on hand or source book to learn the grammar? I have tried looking at college course lists, but they never list these, only the books to read in Greek.

You obviously didn't learn it from the bible since it states many times to treat your slaves well, or if one is killed, u are owed a little money, etc... So if all morality is handed down by god and explained in his book, when did the shift occur that suddenly ALL modern christians think slavery is wrong? And where did it come from?

When asked about atrocities ordered or carried out by god in the old testament, they immediately say "things were different back then"?

Yet so often we hear "atheists have no morality, anything goes for them! Christians have a universal morality handed down from god." How do they reconcile this?
