All year I see spiders but no major webs, then in the fall, like now in October, I see large bodied brownish spiders in large round webs. I don't see them any other time of the year. What gives with that?

I'm making a recipe that says "knead dough till it blisters." Huh? I googled and can find this but no explanation as to how it is achieved. Is there some special way of kneading? I usually buy pie dough and used a bread machine so I have little experience kneading.

I've watched little TV over the last few years because of story arcs. I HATE THEM! You get into a story and they cancel the show! Not to say Lucifer doesn't have an arc but it is minor to the weekly episodes. I mean if you miss a week, no big deal. When I see market turnips they are purple on top and yellow on the bottom. But seed catalogs only have purple on top and WHITE on the bottom. I am confused. I want to grow yellow turnip.

I've started cooking with more variety and am into quiche. I would like to make a couple of different kinds and cut them into portions and freeze. This way I could choose to eat one portion instead of a whole pie during the week.
