A friend of mine is from a family called Shelar from the village of Kotroshi near Mahabaleshwar. Her daughter is bright and hardworking and goes to college. However, the family finds it difficult to meet all the various expenses, so I wondered whether their community qualifies for economic support from the government, reservation in jobs, etc. Could anyone please tell me what category they would fall under and whether they are entitled for help under any government scheme? I use henna (mehndi) powder, and Biotique's Bio Henna Leaf is a favourite. I love the coolness and the comforting aroma of henna, but I only get an orange tint, not the dark tone I am looking for. Besides, henna tends to make my hair very dry. I would appreciate the benefit of your experience.
