After suffering for many years from chronic depression, and utilising health professionals, my GP and also a local charitable organisation as a 'service user', I now work as a support worker in mental health. Due to currently experiencing declining self esteem and confidence I am now worrying that health professionals who are treating me will not take me seriously as a support worker, especially if I go to see them with a client. Has anyone experience of this, and how do they find that they are treated in their work role? Or any health professionals out there, please tell me what you think, or would do in this situation. Thanks
