Similar foundation colour Lily Lolo->Revlon?
I am unable to get to my local beauty shop and I have to buy online.
I am currently using Lily Lolo foundation in 'Blondie' (a neutral light) and I was wondering if anyone knew of the similar, but no lighter, shade in the Revlon photofinish range? I am looking for someone who has actually tried them, I do not wish to go by internet colours.
I have over all light skin (Loreal Ivory is too light) with a warm undertone, but Lily Lolo warm shades are too warm, so something more neutral is best.
I have combination dry/oily skin - I usually go for a matte finish, but a dewy look suits me more.
Or can anyone recommend any other foundation for or less then £15 that gives a smooth medium courage, and doesnt make oily skin worse. I am after a liquid if possible.
Has to be available from high stret or amazon in the Uk please.
1 AntwortMakeupvor 9 JahrenAlternative PS3 Wireless?
My PS3 wireless is naff and streaming anything from my NAS via router in the next room is useless, never mind trying off the internet! I wish to use the PS3 for ITV and iplayer.
I can however stream wireless perfectly to my laptop when it sat right next to the PS3. So the Router and wireless network itself isnt the issue.
I can not run CAT5 through the house and neither can I use homeplugs (different circuits). I can not move the router either.
Anyone have any ideas?
My router is dual band wireless N so it would be nice to be able to use this also. Would a Ethernet-to- wireless adapter work? I know USB ones dont.
Can way of plugged the PS3 into the laptop and using that?
Thanks
1 AntwortPlayStationvor 10 JahrenWhich colour blonde for my skin tone?
I am hoping a hairdresser or similar can help me with this.I have looked over the internet and read differing views. I am going to ask my hairdresser to lighten my hair and get some extensions coloured to add differing tones to the all over colour.
I am a natural dark blonde (very light blonde when I was young) currently coloured a medium copper.I have green eyes with gold flecks and my skin is pale-fair with yellow tones.
I started with this (natural virgin hair):

I put this on :

left it on for 40 min (as stated on the pack for extra blonding) and it came out like this:
http://www.superdrug.com/permanent-colour/nice-n-e...
Though this is what I am aiming for buy lightening it gradually or via hairdresser:

I did not like the copper my hair went so an ash toner later helped but I couldnt shake the fact that the slight red/orange that is still there made/makes my skin looked burnt.
Natural, my hair has a yellow shine in the sun or it looks almost translucent.. Should I stick to this yellow tone or would ash be best or would it make me look washed out?
Thanks!
1 AntwortHairvor 1 JahrzehntRemoving copper/red colour from coloured hair?
I recently put a "natural medium ash blonde" permanent colour on my natural/virgin dark blonde hair. It lightened it a shade - which is what I was looking for.
What I did not expect was that just lightening it a shade would make it copper. It would look ok if my skin was not a pale gold/yellow undertone which does not suit it at all.
I put a Light Ash Blonde toner over which helped but it is still not 'ash' enough for my skin.
I have shampoos that remove brassines though if the toner was not enough I am unsure if the shampoos will be enough.
What can I do to fix it? I do not want to use bleach.
2 AntwortenHairvor 1 JahrzehntIs there such a thing as truely temporary colours?
I am after a temporary hair colour that I can apply to my hair without it permanently changing it. IE having to have it cut out, wait till it grows, applying yet more colour to get rid of it.
I have virgin dark blonde (yellow tone) hair and I would like it slightly darker, only to about light/mid brown to better match some dark chestnut brown extensions. (i know the colours sound way different, but they are not.)
I do NOT want a colour that with peroxide to open my hair as this changes the hair colour permanently, even if the dye colour is temporary. I know not all semis are semis from experience.
1 AntwortHairvor 1 JahrzehntCan I connect my Buffalo Linkstation directly to my PS via an ethernet cable.?
My wireless seems to be having trouble sending small avi files over my 54mb connection to my PS3 in the next room. The video freezes whilst the sound continues, then the whole thing freezes. It can play fine for a few minutes before. I am not 100% sure its simply a case that it need to buffer first.
Is it possible to plug the Linkstation directly into the back of the PS3?
1 AntwortComputer Networkingvor 1 JahrzehntCan anyone suggest a FPS multiplayer co-op (4+ people)?
I have curenttly borrowed CoD MW2 from my brother for the PS3.
While I am enjoying the single player, I prefer co-op when it comes to multiplayer (rather like Rainbow6 Las Vegas). MW2's 2 player co-op seems abit lame for me and would get boring quick. plus you cant use your online characters.
So I am looking for a game Like MW2, being able to customise your character, but with large co-op modes also. A recent game or soon to be released would be great.
I have been looking at MoD, BF Bad Company2 and Fallout New Vegas so far.
I did try to look at the next CoD though their website just kept loading the entry page which wasnt very helpful.
Can anyone suggest any? It can be for the PS3 or PC.
4 AntwortenVideo & Online Gamesvor 1 JahrzehntWhy oh why do they still call them semi-permanents?
I had my stylist put a semi on my hair with the idea of it would wash out around the second cutting. At this point the hair that I had used the colour remover on would have been all cut off leaving me with with just this one colour on virgin hair.
Though she never mentioned a word. 10 weeks later I still have this 'semi' so I decided to use a remover again. So now its slightly lighter, great, but incredibly brassy with even more obvious root then before. Obviously they need to change the name, even though colour fades the entire thing isn't a semi...grrr! The last 3 dark semis before teh last remover I used never left this much of a brassy colour.
So what do I need now, a natural/beige light blonde? My natural colour is a dark blonde. I will leave it a few days though, a patch on my head is slightly hot/itchy/feels burned, not sure if its from the hairdryer or what.
I have used a purple/blue based shampoo and conditioner, buts I think its abit beyond that.
1 AntwortHairvor 1 JahrzehntHow would this colour removal turn out?
I have a colour remover in the post (colour b4 extra). I plan on doing a strand test first though I am still nervous. My hair is in good condition.
I have an appointment with my hairdresser to turn me blonde in 3 weeks. On the following link I my hair is currently roughly 'Clairol Perfect 10 Light Auburn' and my natural colour is roughly 'Clairol Perfect 10 Butterscotch'. :
http://www.latest-hairstyles.com/color/chart.html
This current colouring is a VERY faded dark red. Roughly 'Feria Midnight Ruby'. This was applied 4 months ago over the same colour 4 months before that.. which was placed over a med-dark brown...followed by a another few browns over a few years... all permanent:P
I do not expect my original colour back (would be nice though) but I hope it would get rid of at least the red. Indoors my hair looks light brown but in the sun flares bright red.
I hope I can do this next week then let my hair rest 2 weeks before the bleaching. I cant stand my hair as it is now as it makes my skin look orangey.
2 AntwortenHairvor 1 JahrzehntHow bad is bleaching from a salon?
I am having my hair either lifted/bleached by my hairdresser to a blonde of some description but not platinum in a few weeks. I am naturally a dark blonde. I originally had a permanent dark red/purple which i am fading (currently light brown/hint of red) in hopes that it means the less time the bleach has to stay on the less damage.
What I want to ask is how bad is bleaching? I know a lot say how bad it is and their hair fell out.. but is this a negative reaction simply because they tried it at home and did not know what they were doing and so messed up? People are more like to post a negative comment then a good one. Is this a slightly misguided answer? If professionals are offering it - surely this is not the norm.
If your hair is in good condition, hasn't seen dye in 4 months and is a one-off bleach is it really that bad?
I know mistakes do happen even by professionals.
