I was in a bad car accident two years ago and it left me with some pretty banged up legs especially my knees. What cardio exercises should I do for the maximum results.

Alright well here's the story. All my life I have been fascinated with the field of psychology. I have always wanted to reach the highest level which is a psychiatrist. Unfortunately, being a dumb teenager I goofed off my last two years of high school. I went to a CC but had to leave due to financial troubles. I am only 22 and know that I can go back to school and kick some serious butt. I am very determined and if I put my mind to it I can do anything. I know that to become a psychiatrist you have to be accepted to medical school. Is this even possible with all the candidates out there who weren't dumb teenager and worked hard all through high school? I can settle for any job in the psych field but my dream is to be a shrink. Was hit on the freeway(not in my car, the car hit me) and I broke both my legs in 5 different places. I will never be the same obviously. After discussing with my lawyers I will be going after the insurance company of the lady who hit me and her boss, it was a company vehicle. Also we will be going after the CHP, a cop asked me to come and help him and that's when we were hit. What is a ballpark figure I will be looking at?I have no experience with this type of thing and I don't want to accept to low of an offer.

So, I was hit by a car on the freeway (I was outside of my car at the time) in August of last year. I broke both my legs in 5 places. Yesterday was my first day back to work. When I was done with my shift I went home and my ankles and feet look like tree trunks. I do not have a strenuous job and my legs have never swelled like that before. Why is it doing that and is there anything I can do?

I have been on a diet for about 2 months now. I was instructed to by my doctor, not for health reasons but because I was hit by a car in August and both of my legs were broken. My doctor told me if I ever wanted to walk correctly I had to lose weight. The problem I am having is I am not seeing the results I'm looking for. I weigh 310 pounds now and I'm losing weight just not as fast as i had hoped. It is hard because I can't do regular exercise like treadmill, elliptical, etc. I have cut my calorie intake because of it but I am no way starving myself. What can I do? How many calories should I be eating?
