I think that this is something that every tenant should know which I don't so...please help....I sign a lease with this apartment complex and when I signed the lease it was understood that the landlord would pay the water bills....to explain...on the TAA lease if u know what I am talking about, there are boxes with water, electric, gas, etc..and it also states to check if the landlord was paying or not....this is where my troubles come in...My landlord had no boxes checked on the lease indicating that they will pay water but verbally the landlord stated that they will pay the water bill...so 3 months after I signed a lease the landlord sent out memos stating that we will be paying a water bill and not just going by my usage but by how many people r in the apartment the footage and trash, waste, sewer, I mean c’mon how in the hell are they going to start making people pay water who was already in a lease. I truly think that this is not legal if you could tell me otherwise then so be it....it's not fair also...I pay 740.00 dollars in rent and the running water bill r like 60-80 dollars a month com on this is crazy. I would have like to have the option to pay water or not.Not to have it pushed on me and pay or get evicted...I feel real bad right now cause I just can't afford it. I don't know if she will let me out of my lease or not...I have 4 months left and this is crazy...I am aware that TAA is adding water to all of their leases so that the tenants can pay their own water but I still think that it should have been for new tenants not tenants that r already in a lease like someone… said to me before what I pay for rent and all the other stuff that’s a house mortgage with all the bills it's crazy any advice.

For having peoples information online for a year and no one knew about...The are saying that since its been that long and no one has reported having any kind of Identity theft, that's its likely that nothing will happen..I mean come on for a year, I could see if someone actually did have they identity stolen then they can file a lawsuit but what about the people who just had their names and other personal information on the list..

I guess what I am trying to figure out is when will the bails bond dropped the bail...How long can this go on if no charges has been filed...My friend stated that when he asked the city about it, the charges was dropped I guess but I know he hasn't been charged with nothing and is wondering about the bail...

If you decided to get legal help....also, if it states on the application that the insured did drink, but that was also one of the exclusion to the policy- can't die from alcohol...can they still deny the claim if the person died from alcohol.

In that the person hit me from behind with little injury to my car. I just have to replace the bumper... With that I notice that my neck started to hurt and begin to look swollen I went to a doctor and begin therapy had x rays neck is indeed swollen strained muscles, couple of days my neck was feeling better and I decided to go ahead and close my case, before I signed anything I got the estimate of what my doctor bill was not that much and what the insurance company wanted to settle for. They told me $150, I mean that's BS and I was wondering if I should contact a lawyer. I was hoping for something not much more than what they offered to compensate me for my injury and wasting gas back and forth to the doctor etc... This is crazy... or am I just tripping. I never have been in a situation like this and I feel that I am getting taken advantage of

Where do you see yourself in 5 to ten years from now. I ask this question because I am really stuck in life and would like to make some changes. I want to start investing in my future, purchasing a home etc.. I have no kids and husband is deceased. Where does one start to get out of that comfort zone and take charge of their life. Not having no one to show you the ropes while growing up, it's hard not knowing which way to go. Only knowing only how to survive.

my husband past away last year on Aug 5th and his death was ruled and accident. I filed my claim and everything bills are piling up and I don't know what to do. I could sure use the money. I call and every time they say they are still waiting on paper work his medical papers. One guy even told me that it looks like that my claim may be be denied, and I am like why his death was ruled an accident. Can they do that. Or what

Unequal pay where the comparator is of the same sex but different race, How would you handle a problem like this if you are doing the same work as your co worker but was denied a raise. Both have no degress but one has 5 yrs at the company--but not in the current postion that is being held, but just the years before at the same company left and came back....The other has schooling but no degree takes up training classess and other stuff. 3 years partime and 2 going on 3 years fulltime at the same company. I asked him why he called me from a blocked number and he replied that he lost his phone when he went out of town last weekend.. He was in a pulse less state upon the arrival of the ambulance, but he was revived after reaching the hospital but then went into a coma,, now all I need to know is if I am wrong for feeling this way.. Upon my arrival to the hospital no one knew what was going on with my husband and why he was in the situation he was a healthy man. The doctors were telling the family that he is in critical condition. I told the doctors that my husband was taking some cough medicine due to some coughing which led to chest pain which had codeine in it and maybe he overdose on that plus drinking beer with it he didn't know that it was too much, I don't know, but all I know is that the doctors said flat out that was not the case,, we even brought the bottle of cough syrup up there. Ok so in all I got the autopsy report, and come to find out he did die of that, mixing the cough medicine with alcohol. I feel really messed up about this and this is all I think about at night, I feel that if I told them that they should have did something for an overdose, or even knew the signs of it. All they was doing was pumping him with electrolytes and other stuff for is heart. He lost his pulse again and the family couldn’t stand seeing him suffer like that anymore so we let him go home. The family feel like we want to make this known but I am too afraid what can I do.

Now I don't know if the failures to appears has to do with possesion or not, but it was stated that the cops had a warrant to search his place but he wasn't there at the time and they found a gun and some drugs but he also had other people living with him. Can they charge him for anything since he wasn't there. This is his first offense, and he has been in jail since Thanksgiving, I am thinking that they are getting ready to charge him with something. If it was just the failures to appear he should have set that out by now.. Need help.

I don't understand how someone who lives alone no kids and in a apartment 1 bdrm who is never home use 2,121 kwh of electric. Which now the bill is 293.00 might as well say 300. I called and complain to my provider but it's like talking to a tree. They said well you are doing something to pull this much power to me that is B_S and I don't know what to do to get this fix. To be very honest., I didn't even turn on the heat in my apartment til like the middle of Jan. the meter was read on the 18th of Jan, the bill date is from 12/17/07to1/18/08, I do think that there is some foul play here I just can't seem to point it out.. Any advice

Now I need some advice about this, Ok, my husband past away in Aug, together me and my husband paid off a car, but heres the twist his ex wife name was still on the car yeah I know we should have had it changed but we didn't. I had the tilte to the car and so I took the title to the DMV and had my name put on the title. Now I don't even have the car it is a long story but my inlaws are keeping the car from me. They took the VIN to the DMV and found out that the ex wife name was still on the car... so I have been checking around and I might be in hot water I honesty didn't think that changing the title would be illegal, If it was such a problem why did the DMV approve it. I have no idea about what I am doing but I do know that I didn't know that was wrong to do. So how can I fix this problem should I 4-get about the car what do u guys think.

I have a friend who has a girlfriend who he lives with but says he can't stand her. I have no advice to give him because to me it's like you must have some kind of love for her because you are still with her. Why do guys do that?

some type of legal paper stating that I am the beneficiary, I guess for my husband estate. There was no will and I am trying to get some important papers for other issues and the company said that I need something stating that I am the beneficiary which I thought that I would be I am the widow, but I guess that is not enough.
