after the breakdown of my relationship, my partner walked away from our house and stopped contributing to the mortgage. we have not lived together for over 12 months. what rights do they have to the property? ie: if i sell it how much would they be entitled to etc. thanks in advance

My employer wants access to my medical records. If I refuse to grant them access can they take any action against me ie: discipline me or terminate my employment.

I have worked for the company for 8 years, so have a perminant contract.

I'm not trying to be provocative or sarcastic, I'm asking a genuine history question.

What's going on Zimbabwe is absolutly appalling. I'm not suggsting we send troops in and start another war, but is anyone (governments) doing anything?

I was off sick, last october and covered by a sick note. The company I work for paid me sick pay.

I was off again in march of this year (without a sick note) and this put me over the company linit for having time off.

The compay I work for has decicded to take back the sick pay i was payed last october, because I have breached thier policy. They took the full amount (£290) back from my last paypacket without telling me they were going to, ( I only found out what had happened after ringing the wages department to ask what had happened)

In the 7 years i have worked for them, these 2 occasions are the only sick leave i have taken.

so my question is - Is this legal?

I've mistakenly plugged an AC appliance into a DC power supply!

Is it this fixable? and if so, roughly how much would it cost?

To replace the unit would be about £200.

I'm going to the maldives for an all inclusive holiday and was wondering how much it would cost for a night out, outside of the complex.

any help appreciated for prices of draught beer, bottled beer and wines and spirits.

i took my son last week and paid £6.10 for 1 small popcorn and 1 small coke. surely this is blatent overpricing, espiecially as you cannot (or are not supposed to) take your own.

a family bag of mm's costs 99p at my local newsagent and £2.60 at the cinema.

i understand that it is in the constitution that every man has the right to bare arms,but, surely the american people can see the connection between this and the fact that they have one of the highest murder rates in the world. and surely they should distinguish between a (semi) automatic machine gun and a single shot hunting rifle.
