I'd like one where I can manage an army or a town or something, where I have to allocate resources and manage funds and build a town or army (or both) from the ground up. I know Civilization: Revolution is kinda like that, but I think i'm looking for something more in-depth as far as management and resources are concerned. I can't seem to think of any off the top of my head that aren't for PC...any suggestions?

1. Do all the branches have the same benefits?

2. If I join without a degree, can I get a degree while in service?

3. Can I become a commissioned officer within the band (if not, what is the highest band rank)?

4. I have red hair and blue/green eyes, what uniform best suites me (really not important but I am curious)?

5. Do all branches have concert oriented bands or are they strictly marching (I dont mind a little marching, but I want to focus on concert music as my primary instrument is French Horn)?

I know for certain that I will join, but I just dont know when (should I get a degree first or not) and I dotn know what branch.

During cutscenes the top and bottom of the screen are covered with black bar, effectively cutting of parts of the animation. I assume this is to accomodate the subtitles, however, even when the subtitles are off, the black section remains and the scene is cut off at the top and bottom. Occassionally, the animation flickers for moment and appears to be attempting to format itself to properly fit the screen, but it always ends up the same way it started, with the animation not fitting into the screen. I've looked at the video and interface menus and I dont see anything that might address this issue. Can anyone help?

I ask this because I'm trying to get better and the answer has eluded me for years. I always received criticism for my embouchure (I learned to play without instruction so that's why my embouchure isn't correct) because my lips are bass ackwards of how they are supposed to be, which is to say about 2/3 upper lip and 1/3 bottom lip (my embouchure is 1/3 upper lip and 2/3 bottom lip). Now I understand that there's a proper form at work here, but my real question is why? I can play well with my embouchure but when I do it the "proper" way I sound absolutely dreadful. I literally sound like an elementary horn player who has picked up the thing for the first time when I use "proper" technique, whereas with my "incorrect" technique, I have 3 times the range and 8 times the clarity and an infinitely better sound. It's just so discouraging to pick up the horn with the "proper" technique when it sounds so horrible. I know I sound good without the technique (even college professors I've played for admitted that I sound great, but they are still relentless in their endeavor to 'fix' my embouchure) and I sound horrible with it; I'm terrified that I'll never sound any better, that's why I'm reluctant to use the "proper" technique, I'm really worried that I'll end up being a worse player. Can someone please tell me how this will make me better if, thus far, it's only proving to be detrimental to my performance?

I used to be great! That's nice but it doesn't mean anything, I've been out of practice for 4 years (I had a rough financial situation that made college impossible) and now I would like to attend a good school of music. My issue is that my embouchure has suffered, I have almost NO endurance; my range has suffered, the G on the top of the staff is a reach for me now; I can't hit the center of the notes anymore (I splat or frack or whatever you want to call it) on almost all of them (which may be because of the small partials of the Horn and I'm out of practice), and I can't jump fourths, fifths and octaves gracefully; and I simply do not know how to practice effectively (amazing that throughout high school they never taught me to practice). So my question is threefold i think: 1. How can I rebuild my embouchure and endurance? 2. How can I center my tone and hit the center of every note? 3. Most importantly, how can I practice effectively to achieve these goals, and what exercises should I do to reach my potential?

My goal is to get into a college school of music and become a Music Theory and Composition and Music Education double major.

I used to be ranked in the top ten in my state on my instrument, but I couldnt attend college for financial reasons and was forced to quit the game for a while. Now (4 years later) I'd like to get back to where I was. I try playing but my endurance is shot and my embouchure fails me rather quickly. And I'd like to push myself harder, but I dont know how to do it without blowing my endurance. So my questions are thus: How can I rebuild endurance? What specific exercises can I do to be the best again? How can I build loads of endurance (that's my biggest worry)? And how can I do this without a band? I used to tune myself to the band while I was playing, but I assume it'll be exponentially harder to get quality practice without a band. So how can I get all this quality practice?

As a side note: I have little interest in performance, I wish to be a music Educator and composer. So come guys, think about the future of music, help me rebuild myself to be good enough to get into a college School of Music where I can become a great professor!

The titles Arl, Bann, and Teyrn are what I'm referring to. I assumed there are 3 possibilities: 1. They are foreign titles of nobility. 2. They are foreign titles of nobility in a different language. 3. Bioware was tired of the typical titles of nobility and decided to make their own where power is determined less by nobility and more by Battle and Strategy.

The peerage of Dragon Age: Origins confused me until I looked it up, but I'm still wondering where they got the titles from? Titles are: (in order from least to most powerful) Bann, Arl, Teyrn...and I'm pretty sure that's it with the exception of king and what not.

There is one spot on my right arm that breaks out every couple months or so. It itches like mad and there are small bumps all over that area. It always starts with one or two bums that itch worse than anything i've ever felt and so i scratch and then the bums end up spreading all over the inside of my right forearm. They never spread further than that, but they ALWAYS itch like crazy and i just want to know what it is and what i can do to make it stop breaking out so frequently.

summary of symptoms: Small bumps, localized area, always breaks out in the same spot, itches worse than anything in the world. It's been doing this for several years now.

I wonder because I haven't had them in a while (obviously) but I remember that I absolutely loved them. I go to find some today and see all over about how they've been discontinued. I can NOT find a negative review of the product and the general consensus is that EVERYBODY loved them and nobody wanted them to go. I can understand getting rid of a product that nobody buys, but why would you get rid of a product that EVERYONE loves? This makes very little sense to me...anybody have an answer?

I did it in the tutorial, but it doesnt seem to work ANYWHERE else. I managed to sneak up on my enemy with my dagger drawn, but the option to assassinate never appeared, and they never noticed me. Initially I assumed it was because I was attacking animals and it only works on Humanoids, but then I snuck up on a humanoid to no avail. WTF is going on? How do I assassinate?

The game seems to be wider than my TV. My mini-map and health bar are both off the screen, I can only see the edge of them. This has happened on 2 televisions so I assume the game is the issue. Also, when i select something in my inventory, I can't see any of the weapon stats, that's how far off the screen it is. How can I fix this? Please help, I really want to enjoy this game.

I find recipes online that say to cook for two minutes on each side. that blackens the fish nicely, but the inside isn't cooked at all. How do I blacken the fish without burning the outside, but making sure the inside is cooked through? 4 minutes will not cook that sucker through. Any advice?

I can cast it but whenever a fish get's near, a red X appears and that's it. Nothing ever takes the bait so I dont even know if I'm using the right bait. So, what bait am I supposed to use? Where do I get said bait? and How do I fish once they take the bait? None of this is in the game manual so I'm at a loss really and everything I've found online is about improving fishing, nothing mentions how it's done. Any help would be appreciated.

I feel really stupid for this because everywere i've looked online is talking about how to do it better, but I can't figure out how to do it at all. I throw the line and just sit there...nothing ever happens. Two questioins here: 1. What am I supposed to be using as bait and where do i get it? 2. How do i use the fishing rod? It's not in the game guide, i've read that so i'm just at a loss. (btw, why would a game guide not include information about how to do something that there is also no tutorial for in a game?)

Question has many parts, warning. 1. Happiness and Dicipline, I fail hard at discipline and even doing everything the Digi wants, Happiness never rises above 50% so I'm just at a COMPLETE loss there, any advice would be much appreciated. 2. FOOD OMG!!! My Digimon is a fat ****. He's ALWAYS hungry, and it takes all of my daily rations to feed him once, and I can't find enough food elsewhere to keep his fat *** from starving, what to do? 3. Progression, this one's tricky. It takes time to gather food for my Digimon, who i've aptly named Fatshit, and it takes a lot of food and thus a lot of time. I can not train while gathering and when I'm training I'm not progressing and when I'm not training I must be gathering because Fatshit eats like a damned herd of cattle, not just one but all of them. So it seems as though I must choose between correctly raising my Digi or progressing in game. 4. How in God's name do I even raise the Discipline gauge? 5. I NEED A FISHING POLE, GATHERING WOULD BE SO MUCH EASIER. I know Mount trash but i dont know where...again any help would be greatly appreciated.

The game is Jiu-Jitsu, and i'm not small myself, i weigh in at about 205, but this guy is easily 330+ and he's my only rolling partner in my class (very small class, just getting started.) I'm helping the instructor and i'm the senior student and what not but this big guy really pissed me off yesterday while he was arguing with my instructor and I offered to show him what my instructor was trying to say. He didnt listen to me at all, he just huffed and puffed and said "you can't show me ****!" Now that's just down-right disrespectful and tonight, well I'd like to take him up on that challenge and show him some "****." Only problem is, he's got me by 100+ lbs and he quits after 30 seconds because he gasses. So I need to know two things: How do i control that behemoth and how do I tap him in under 30 seconds when he'll earn the "biggest pussy of the night" award....well if we offered such a thing...

I was looking at Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu and wondered about the key change from C sharp minor to D flat major. I know that D flat major is the enharmonic equivalent to C sharp major but my question is whether or not that is considered a modulation to the parallel Major? So in short, if you modulate from C sharp minor to D flat major, is that still considered going to the Parallel Major? Or is there some technical rule about it that states that the key must be stated as C sharp major?

I didnt even know you could until I was playing Manhunt and I pressed the assassination button and instead of a kill it showed my opponent dodging the attempt (not even stunning me) and let him run away. How do you do that?

Facts: I had a friend, she moved out of state, said she wanted me to visit. I decided to visit and she asked if I could get her stuff from her old place and bring it to her, which I agreed to do since it really wasnt any trouble. Dec. 11th, I visit her and we have a great time. She keeps talking about how much she needs her job and a phone. I help her get a phone (she desperately needed it) and then go about my merry way back home. Since then, she got her job back (she's a workaholic so that'll be extremely consuming) and decided to move out of state again. She hasnt made the move yet, but i'm sure arrangements are taking up some time. The issue lies here: We haven't spoken since i left except for her to tell me that she's too busy to talk. Basic logic dictates that someone who desperately needs a phone doesnt go get one to continue NOT talking to people. It can also be assumed that if someone really mattered to you, then you'd make time for them, even if it's only five minutes. My calls are never returned, texts never answered. She says she's been too busy. I dont know what to believe. She remembered my birthday, wished me a happy birthday, and we talked briefly then. She answered the phone while at work, stating--of course--that she couldnt talk while she was at work (obviously). Other than that, it's all been about how she's either going to work or going to bed. Am I paranoid or have I actually just been used and then tossed aside? I'm a nice guy and I help people as much as I can, I get thrown out on a regular basis, but this one just hurts a little more. Since I'm paranoid, I assume i've been done away with. Could I be wrong? and What should I do?
