When I was a boy in the 80’s I grew up watching Sean Connery as James Bond.  I absolutely idolized the man.....

The only character I loved more than Bond was Indiana Jones (I eventually became an archaeologist) and then Connery took on the role of my hero’s father!  My hero’s hero!  

In my life, I’ve lost my father, my mother and my wife.  I mourned each of them, still keep them in my heart and kept moving forward......

When Sean Connery died, I hit a wall.....I just can’t get over it.  I’ve never even met the man and yet his passing has rocked me.

My questions is this.......Why has the death of this man affected me like it has?  

Just read “Before the Dawn” by Nicholas Wade and was curious about his writing.  I’m new to anthropological evolution and trying to learn but are these two the same?!  

I live in a house where utilities are paid by the landlord (CA). This month I received a bill stating that I owed $35 for excessive water usage. That said, the landlord was not able to present me with any evidence that my bill was higher than normal. When asked about it, I was told that he did not have a breakdown of water usage as the meter was shared between two units. I informed him that I would not pay unless he had documentation that showed I was using the water excessively. Do I have a leg to stand on?

I'm flying into JFK next week and visiting friends for a couple of days. After that, I plan on renting a car and driving up to Buffalo and then driving back to catch my flight out. As a guy from small town Oregon, the thought of driving in NYC is a bit intimidating. Any ideas of how to minimize driving in the city? Any help would be appreciated!

I'm looking to buy a new desktop but, being a rather un-wealthy college student, my funds are limited. The only thing I really use a computer for is writing papers, using the Internet, and watching TV/Movies. I know next to nothing about computers and I don't want to overspend for things I don't really use. I don't play computer games but often convert audio/video files to use on my phone and use Netflix software for entertainment. I'm looking to spent under $600. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As an Oregon alumnus I have the PAC-12 and seeing as the SEC have dominated the last few yeas, I've added them too. I only have room for two more conferences and I'm not sure which ones to use. It's a 12 team league. Any help would be appreciated.

Why do these two concepts have to be separated? How do we know that God didn't create the "Big Bang" knowing that humankind would be the ultimate result? If this is not possible, why not?

My nephew is beginning to read in school but getting him to do his homework is like pulling teeth. I'm hoping to find something that will pique his interest and get him involved and enjoying reading. He loves things like Star Wars, Superman, Batman, etc... and I'm wondering if there are any comic books that are written specifically for this age group. Thanks for any help.

I'd like to start playing this game, but my roommate is in the middle of it and when I start it up, it starts in the middle of his game. Is there a way two people can play the single player mode without erasing the others person's progress?
