Prowrestling.com is reporting that there will be a tournament to determine 2009 Superstar of the Year. The line up, as reported is this:

Undertaker versus Ortron

CM Punk versus Cena.

Here is my take. If this were any REAL vote, then Cena would not win, since there are many fans who like Orton or even Undertaker for that matter. This is WWE's way of being in control of who THEY want to see as Superstar of the Year. IT is obvious that Cena will be seen as the person who "bounced back" over his humiliating loss and win over Punk.

Then it doesnt matter who he faces, either Undertaker or Orton and a win over Orton will give Cena and his fans that much more confidence that Orton cannot defeat Cena. IF it is Undertaker, then the "revenge" factor sets in with Cena wanting to get back at Taker for tombstoning him a few weeks ago.

This is all crap, because if it were left up to me and I had the vote, then Orton wins it hands down.
